Foreign Sides In Football League Trophy

Foreign Sides In Football League Trophy. How about Celtic nation club sides play in the EFL Trophy as guests?
My idea is that all the sides from the Scottish Premier who have not qualified for Europe, plus selected Welsh Cymru Premier, and Irish sides could play in the English Football League Trophy. With perhaps teams invited from North West France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
This would allow Celtic sides to play in a lower English trophy as guests.
The Scottish have allowed Northern Irish and Welsh sides in the lower tier Scottish Challenge Cup. So why not England invite Celtic nation club sides into the lower tier cups.
I do not support merging the British and Irish leagues but I do support cross border cups on top of European and domestic soccer. So lower tier sides in the EFL Trophy.
