Chapter 0: a defense of my credibility

So,who’s the wise guy who thinks he's an expert on odemonology?
Me,nixon gray but my friends don't call me enough for anyone to call me nix,adopted son of the grim reaper himself!.
That,of course is not a qualification of my knowledge,but i'll tell you what is.I am one of the only two humans to be raised in limbo,my sister elizabeth being the second.A small error in the death system caused us to die and be brought to limbo as “unregistered miscarriages” where the librarian of limbo and her asshole ex husband the grim reaper raised us.
After spending 14 years in limbo I was kicked out and forced to figure life out in the human world,after living and dying (a tragic and young death)I returned to the home I grew up in and began an expedition across the realms of heaven and hell to catalog the beasts of the multiverse,what you will find in this book is a collection of “diary” entries detailing some of the creatures I discovered,more specifically the Odemonic ones.You will also find information on odemonology as a whole.


Chapter One:what is an odemon?
Long,long,looong ago right after the universe formed there was an abundance of one element,”malice” malice,is a sentient and evil gas that when clumped together forms into odemons,malice can appear naturally but typically comes from negativity via a process called spirit decay.
But the term odemon has taken on a larger meaning in the modern era,”odemon” is a title that can be applied to preposts,primordials,konceptikas,chaos demons,and hell wandering beasts,so what does any of that mean?
Well,as you read through this book you will learn about all of those creatures and more!
But we’re not quite there yet,so lets get back on track with a Q&A about what actual odemons are

Are all odemons evil? NO! In Fact a solid amount of odemons are completely friendly,but they are all locked away to protect us just in case!

Are odemons powerful? I've met and seen some powerful odemons,bellzibur being the greatest example,but i've also met very weak odemons,such as chloe clockgirl,who is a completely normal girl who views time one second slower

Are odemons able to reproduce? Kind of? Some odemons are able to reproduce if they have human sexual organs,these are called humanoids,others may be able to fuse their malice into new life.

Are odemons still around? Yes,very much so there's a common misconception that odemons were all locked away in the nightmare realm years ago and became too weak to interact with our world,this is simply untrue as malice never weakens, just separates,this is basic mechanoidinism taught in the 8th year of academics.

How do odemons interact with the human world? While it is true that the preposts are all dead (for now),the primordials are locked away in the primordial prison (for now),and all the odemons are locked away in the nightmare realm (for now) they aren't exactly gone.To be more specific,primordials and odemons are physically trapped,but there power is not,only limited.

Chapter 2:how to summon an odemon
As previously stated there are many beings that bear the name “odemon”,most of these are unsummonable,but you are able to summon actual odemons (the ones stuck in the nightmare realm) in a couple of ways!

Magic-rituals,magical objects,and spells may be used to allow odemons to pass through the -14th dimension (the realm of divinity) allowing it to cross from the nightmare realm into ours

Mind-through dreams or through repetitive and intentional thought
A strong minded person may be able to conjure a odemon,this is typically done accidentally via nightmares

Murder-everytime an entity ends the life of another they absorb some divinity,this weakens the force of the -14th dimension on them,allowing them to see more and more divinity and odemonic beings and thus allowing odemons to interact with their mind and use it as a gateway

Keys-special artifacts left behind by strong odemons,they are usually hidden and unassuming so that they aren't found without odemonic intervention

It is inadvisable to summon any odemonic entity without the guidance of an OGG agent or otherwise professional,odemons can be very dangerous and it is important to ensure under no circumstance you allow them into the world unless you are completely sure you know what you're doing!

Chapter 3:how to trap an odemon!
Once an odemon has been summoned the next step is to trap it!
It's not always necessary of course,but when dealing with malicious or powerful odemons it would be stupid to neglect this step.

Step 1-set up the scene and prepare yourself mentally to summon the odemon

Step 2-trap yourself within a circle of soulium material and prepare a shiner to trap the beast if it escapes

Step 3-hold a small soulium object in your mouth and finish the ritual

Step 4-when the odemon appears make your deal DO NOT LEAVE THE CIRCLE

Step 5-if the odemon tries to possess you move the soulim object to the center of your mouth and perform the blacking ritual (more on that soon)

And it's as easy as that

Malice and soulium are exact opposites and cancel out upon contact,that's why you surround yourself with it

Shiners dense crystal make up allows it to be used as an makeshift prison maze that will temporarily trap the beast,to banish it back to the nightmare realm it is important to crush the crystal

Chapter 4:How to banish an odemon

So,you messed up big time and need to get rid of an odemon now,how do you do it?

Step 1:locate the target
The first step to banishing an odemon is to find it
They can hide within thoughts,objects,people,and appear physically

To test if an odemon is within an object interact with it,look at it,touch it,squeeze it,ect if you feel an unending sense of negativity you have located the odemon

If you find yourself coming back to a thought allow it to sit for a moment,if you become upset you have located the odemon

If you believe a person has been possessed try to initiate a hug or otherwise contact them with your chest,an odemon will react negatively as this is where your soul is,if you are capable of soul bending you can also move your soul to your fingertips and touch the possibly possessed persons chest to banish the odemonic soul

Once you have located the odemon you need to banish it

If it is in your mind you must focus on something positive for 3-4 minutes without stopping

If it's physical it's recommended to allow it to possess someone but it can still be banished by magic or by soul

If it within an object destroy the object

And if it is within a friend force a tight hug

If none of these work call upon the blacking ritual (also called a blackout) simply repeat the phrase below 3 times

As Man Of Ogg
As shielded by black
I face against you
To send you back

This will result in the banishment of the odemon by the divine power of ogg,this will only work once per person though so it's important to use it carefully and only in extreme cases
This spell will not work if the odemon is bound to the human realm it will cause them EXTREME pain though

So,why does this work anyway?

Ogg was selected as ruler of the heavens at random when our world first formed and so his name bears great power,he sent binny bin blacking down to our realm to share his message making binny a spiritual protector of sorts

When binny returned to heaven this spell was made and programmed into the universe to ensure those who believe are safe from odemonic entities that may intend to harm them

Chapter 5: Motivations

Okay okay,why do odemon come after humans anyway?
Well,to explain that Il need to explain something previously used as evidence

The General Theory Of Negativity

This theory states that when souls begin to decay they release a gas called malice which when clumped together forms into odemons

What makes a soul decay?
Negativity.

This means odemons derive all power from negativity and as such hunger for it.
To recap,negativity causes odemons which cause negativity.

Now days they also have a second motivation of course,freedom
Ever since odemons were discovered by the ancient gods they have been locked away in the nightmare realm,only able to interact via sentient minds.
After visiting the nightmare realm I almost felt bad for them
They are trapped,within a huge grid of 1 million rooms all white and empty each containing a being forced to live its entire eternal existence within a box usually just 5 ft wide and 5 ft long surrounded by evil creatures
Then I remember only like 25% of them are almost neutral and I feel a little better.

Chapter 6:broader meanings
The term odemon may apply to following species

Konceptikas-8 creatures that exist in every universe and embody a basic concept Ex:evil they can not be summoned but can be brought into the world by mass thought

Preposts-gigantic beings that exist in the empty space before and after maxium exists they are able to move through empty time

Helldinks-human/demon hybrids living in hell

Hellions (ambiguous)-any being inhabiting hell,heaven,the nightmare realm,or limbo including ogg,bellzibur,and libby the limbo librarian

Primordials-the first odemons were able to gather large amounts of malice making them immune to sources of soulium that aren't large or highly concentrated they were locked away by the ancient gods in the left corned of the universe by infinitely concentrated soulium,in total there are 386 and i have had the pleasure of speaking to them all,they have wisdom beyond that of ogg himself and there freedom would bring about the end of everything except malice.

Chaos Demons-to understand chaos demons you must first understand the chaos particle,read the next chapter and come back

A chaos demon mainly exists within the chaos realm but when chaos cores and normality become balanced correctly they are able to form in our world via chaos disentanglement.You can defeat a chaos demon by destroying the normality crystal or destroying the host atom.


Chapter 7:Chaos
every atom contains three atom layers total,2 of which can only be seen on another plane,when these atoms are sized a specific way they break this rule and appear in other worlds,but because the atoms can move within there plane without moving in ours
They can disconnect and appear in two locations on our plane
When atoms in the chaos plane clump together they become sentient “chaos demons” and their normality atoms fuse into a red “normality crystal” which when destroyed reverts the atom back into complete chaos and returns the chaos demon back to its original plane.

This process is called chaos disentanglement and is the main subject of CPT (chaos plane theory) written by a mathematician of the ages . It isn't exactly proven per say but is widely accepted as fact due to overwhelming evidence in its defense and very little against it.

Chaos demons are not exactly evil,they aren't even really conscious
They exist with the sole purpose of eliminating normality and removing entropy from the equation of the universe
This is typically done in a way that isn't exactly fun for living creatures,a process called UCS (Unrendered Chaotic Scatteration)

Which,in words that you will understand is every atom of your body being turned into pure chaos by ripping it into individual layers and turning them into chaotic ash,it would feel like every part of your body was split into infinite pieces by an infinitely hot knife while the universe folds on top of you forcing itself through your body trapping you in an infinite void in all locations at once

Or in other words,it's painful,the worst part is no amount of imagination can explain how this feels because it destroys your source code,not your body so your very being burns :)

Chapter 8:DO NOT SUMMON!!!
I can not over explain how stupid it would be to summon these odemons, I won't even try
If you do the universe will be put at risk and if it's saved you will never be forgiven by anyone.
With that said,onto the top 10 strongest odemons of all time

BELLZIBUR-when the primordials were locked away an ancient evil god named alit reached out to an odemon called zibur,zibur was capable of stealing the personalities of sentient beings and switching them around to make people betray one another.Alit proposed that zibur hid away while the giants prepared to lock the odemons within the nightmare realm and in return would receive the power of a primordial under the condition he destroy his soul allowing him to become pure evil.When the odemons had been locked away zibur became extremely powerful and decided to prove it by attacking the strongest knight at the time,bellu the great.
The issue was bellu was a completely blameless and pacifical knight which meant his soul had little decay so when zibur attacked he was trapped with bellus pristine soul.To summon bellzibur you have to find bellu (who was immortalized by the odemon) and kill him

BlackRose-the combined souls of all dead roses fused into an elegant woman,queen of the 5th layer of hell to summon her burn a rose while repeating the phrase “blackrose your majesty I call upon thee”

World Eater-a man with a mouth in place of a face,he is quite cordial and respectful but can be easily angered to summon him you must eat an entire planet to prove your worth,good luck with that

Dill-a man made of brine and vinegar certain combinations of vinegar and other ingredients have a chance of summoning him.It is important not to doubt him as his abilities allow him to reality burning acid

StarGirl-stargirl can not be summoned but will randomly enter the mind of a 9 year old girl every 1000 years when the child turns 10 or is killed she is banished,she is able to bend reality

The Abyss-the abyss can be summoned by entering a dark room,staring into a reflective material and allowing yourself to fall into the -14th dimensional plane through the reflection
The abyss appears to be unconscious but will kill anything that contacts it and if the reflective material being used as a gate is destroyed it will seep into our world

Keg-the ghost of all pain,when you stop feeling an injury it starts to feel it and when it touches you,you feel all of it
To summon keg completly destroy another human being and then knock yourself out

Gongo-the machines equivilant of a power source,it isnt technically an odemon but is treated as such,it takes form as a ball of light to explore the universe but cant be summoned,contact with it will result in you being ERASED from the future present and past

The Wishman-by snorting a crushed wishrock you may encounter the wish man,DO NOT TALK TO HIM just ignore him and hope the high wears off

The Divine One-a powerful holy being angered by nillys power despite his corruption choose to turn to evil he is entirely corrupted and uses his holy given powers to move between worlds.Rather than feeding off negativity and producing negativity,it consumes positivity and produces negativity.You can determine wether your dealing with some run of the mill odemon or the divine one by the way you feel,odemons cause sadness and anger,the divine one causes hopelessness only slightly counteracted by your souliums natural decay,this means it has now power on highly decayed souls.

Chapter 9:how to deal with a devil

-Never take there word for

-ask for every word to be defined

-you will never get the upper hand on an odemon,but its possible to get an almost fair deal to get an upper hand on the world

-a deal becomes offical when a chunk of your soul is decayed via signature or handshake

-a deal will always result in someones soul greatly decaying

-odemon are usually misrepersented as unable to lie,this isnt true
They can and do lie and they idea they cant is a lie they made up
They cannot however break a contract or handshake without being banished

Chapter 10:how do odemons enter our world without being summoned?

As explained previously all odemons were trapped within the nigthmare realm ages and ages ago.The nature of the nightmare realm allows powerful odemon to slide into nightmares,decay souls,and climb there way into the dreamers mind,they may also be able to spread through word of mouth,thought,or fear
