The Arms of Jesus

Why is a child's heart broken
Why do the seas roar with pain
Where do multitudes find healing
They run to His arms again.

Why is a heart cold and lonely
Why do the rivers run dry
How can they water the desert
They run to His arms and cry

Pour out Your love on them, Jesus
Deep into broken lives
Fill them with love and wonder
Lord, take fear from their eyes.

The faces once crumpled, are smiling
The trembling hearts are strong
For, you see, in the arms of Jesus
They finally find they belong.
