The horror story of an elf on the shelf
The story of Ellie

The horrors of elf on a shelf

Ellie the elf sat on Santa’s shelf her long legs dangled down hitting the tiny nutcracker that was dealing with a broken arm, this was the shelve of Shame she thought every toy that was not wanted or broken was placed there, Santa felt that Ellie wasn’t ready to be a toy for a child she was mean and at times downright rude she seemed to have a mind of her own, And Santa was also scared because he had witnessed Ellie trying to kill one of his work elf’s, So there she sat waiting and hoping she could get out of this dreadful place. Santa came into his office threw off his big boots and sat by the fireplace he looked over his list and then got up to grab some cookies Ellie slide herself down the shelf towards the fireplace she smiled at what she was thinking, As Santa sat down Ellie threw herself off the shelf hitting Santa on his back he got up to see what hit him and Ellie kick Santa so hard he fell back towards the fireplace his pants caught on fire, flames erupted up his leg as he desperately tried to put the fire out, his head elf Jolly came running in with a bucket of water, Ellie just laughed and jumped off the chair scrambling towards Santa’s toy sack she slide herself in the sack. She could hear Santa yelling in pain. Jolly the elf was panicking, “I will be all right, I must deliver these gifts” Santa said, putting his boots on. Jolly handed Santa his list and helped him put his coat on, Ellie buried herself underneath a toy bear Santa grabbed his sack and tied it he threw the sack onto his back and walked out of his office towards the slide Jolly followed behind his long coat trailing on the ground as his little legs tried to catch up. The doors to the sled room slide open with a short Christmas chime. Santa pushed the heavy sack on the slide and pressed a button on his slide to open the gates. He patted Jolly on the back and told him to keep an eye on the workshop. Ellie could smell the fresh air. Finally, I am getting out, she thought. Santa started up the sleigh the reindeers all started hitting their feet on the ground like well-trained soldiers and then they started running out the gate their legs going so fast as they just flew up into the sky, Ellie could feel that they were on the move she wiggled herself towards the top of the bag and tried to pull open the sack luckily Santa never tied the bags tight. She managed to undo the bag and popped her head out. She saw Santa waving to Jolly as he flew past the workshop. Ellie put her head back into the sack, she needed a plan to bring the jolly man down, their was nothing in the sack she got use to hurt Santa then saw the rope that was tied around the bag, she got herself out of the bag reached for the rope and ran towards Santa, she jumped on the back of the chair and grabbed Santa by his neck trying to choke him, the sled bounced up and down “Don’t fight me fat man,” Ellie yelled trying to wrap her legs around Santa, she started biting him on the ear, the sled veered out of control the reindeer tried to keep themselves and the sled on control as it spiraled down. Santa reached behind him and grabbed Ellie, he picked her up like a rag doll and tossed her in the back of the sled she flew over the sled and grabbed onto the side of the sled Santa maintained control of the sled and ordered the reindeers to make a stop into the first city below, Ellie couldn’t hold on and dropped down she spiraled down towards a small house in the city, And then slammed right at their front door, she hit the ground with a thud it was loud enough that the family inside came out, “Oh look Mel, it’s one of those elves on a shelf” The mother said laughing a little red headed girl came rushing to the door and saw the elf lying on the Matt, she pick her up and straightened out her little green dress “it’s just what I ask for, I’ll name her Jellybean” the girl smiled hugged her elf and brought it inside the parents smiled at each other and went back inside, Mel sat Ellie on the fireplace and went upstairs to bed, her parents turned the lights off and shortly followed Ellie sat there on the fireplace waiting and thinking “JELLYBEAN?” She said what kind of stupid name is Jellybean! She thought she needed to get away from this it was just as bad as sitting on the fat man’s shelf of shame with all the unwanted toys she thought, she looked around the darkened living room there was a big shiny Christmas tree with presents wrapped neatly under it, and a big stereo placed right besides the tree the living room was small but neat Ellie jumped off the fireplace and ran towards the presents her little hands clawing at the wrapping paper she started unwrapping each gift “oh how nice perfume” she said to herself as she threw the gifts all over the living room . She got up and ran into the kitchen she saw a bunch of knifes sitting in the counter, Ellie grabbed the chair and pushed it towards the counter climbing up the chair leg she grabbed a small knife and ran towards the stairs. Just then she heard a noise coming from the fireplace and out flew Santa he looked mad his coat was all covered in ash and his cap had a rip in it. He quickly charged towards Ellie grabbing her by the collar of her green dress “Alright you naughty elf, time to go home” he said trying to place her in his sack as he pushed her into the sack Mel came down the stairs she saw Santa putting her beloved Jellybean in his toy sack, “Santa? Where’s Jellybean?” She said wiping the sleep from her eyes. Santa smiled and motioned for the young girl to come down “Sorry little one, that Jellybean is broken but I got you this one she’s brand new.” Santa said handing the little girl another elf. Mel looked at the elf and smiled “are you sure Jellybean was broken?” Mel said looking at Santa. “Don’t listen to him kid” Ellie yelled out Santa slapped the bag and said “She’s a little naughty and we can’t have that” he said laughing. Mel nodded and hugged Santa waving goodbye to him as he went back up the chimney he tossed the bag back into the sled and went back to the workshop Ellie was mad she couldn’t get herself out of the bag. Just as she started biting on the bag to open it she felt the bag being grab it was Jolly he was rolling the bag off the slide. She could hear Santa laughing as he took off again, he rolled the bag down a long hallway she could hear the elf’s chattering, where was she going she thought. Jolly stopped moving he opened a door and rolled the bag inside she could hear the door click shut, just then the bag opened and Ellie came flying out, Jolly and two other elf’s were in the room “we are sorry Ellie elf” Jolly said walking towards the fireplace the two other elf’s held Ellie and dragged her towards Jolly as they approached the fireplace Mrs clause was sitting down on the chair “Ellie I heard what you did, this is very naughty” Mrs clause said “we have no choice, your to be taken apart at once,” she said again The two elf’s dragged her into the workshop started taking her apart until she was no more, Mrs clause watched in silence she felt sad that she couldn’t save Ellie but she was too evil, now she was gone a little elf with a mind of her own.
