What happened in Arcadia before the events of Adventures in Arcadia? Find out here!
[Introduction]
This is a prequel to Johnny Foxx's Adventures in Arcadia campfire. This tells the story of Lindsay, the no-nonsense, tough-as-nails, amputee school principal at Andy and Billy's school. What the faculty and students don't know is that she enjoys video games in her spare time. In Arcadia, around the time the Super Nintendo Entertainment System was introduced in North America in real life, she's about to become the most legendary champion Arcadia's ever had. Under the tutelage of its rabbit police officers, the thin rookie Ernest "Ert" Pritchard and the chubby donut-loving Bernard "Bernie" Hooper, her story's about to unfold.
Chapter 1: A Legend is Born

In the year 1991, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System debuted in North America. It was also the same year Lindsay, a no-nonsense, tough-as-nails, amputee high school principal was the most legendary champion a placed called Arcadia ever had. Her story is about to unfold.

It was a typical Friday afternoon when school was getting out for the high school students. Lindsay, the school principal, was getting ready for a weekend with her nephews Paul and Mikey.

"I have to pick them up from karate class," she told herself. "We have so much to do afterwards."

If there was one thing Lindsay enjoyed more than her job as principal, it was spending time with her nephews. In fact, she was the one who bought them a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas the year before. The weekend that was to come would be one she would never forget.
After school had let out for the weekend, Lindsay drove to pick her nephews up. "Hi aunt Lindsay!" They greeted her as they climbed into her car. "Hey boys! How was karate class?" "Awesome! We learned to break boards with our bare fists today!" Mikey said. Lindsay drove back to her home to watch her nephews for the weekend. Their parents had been invited to a friend's wedding on the other side of the country, and asked her to watch Paul and Mikey for a few days.

They spent the evening mostly playing various video games together. One thing the boys loved about their aunt was she was as good as any other gamer their age, despite most people seeing video games as for kids at the time. It soon became late, and Lindsay agreed that they could have one more round of games before bed.

They took turns playing Super Mario Bros, with Lindsay watching on the couch. Soon enough, she began to drift to sleep...
Before we continue the story, let's go back in time to the morning of that day, shall we?

In the world of Arcadia, where your favorite video game characters are as real as you and me, an anthropomorphic rabbit named Ernest "Ert" Pritchard had just gotten out of bed and showered up. He was preparing for his first day of work on Arcadia's police force. His wife, Emily, worked as a nurse, and they had just been married and returned from their honeymoon 8 days ago.

"Good morning, honey," Emily said as he seated her at the table.

"Good morning, dear," Ert responded as he prepared breakfast for her.

"You're not nervous about your first day on the force, are you?" Emily asked.

"Uh, no, not at all," Ert replied.

After breakfast, Emily drove Ert to Police HQ and dropped him off, but not without giving him his lunch.

"Have a good day, sweetheart!" She said.

"You too, honey," Ert replied.

When he had entered the briefing room, he saw various police officers of different species, shapes, and sizes being seated. He looked around for a place to sit, but there were no empty chairs.

"Pssst," he heard a voice say.

He looked at the source of the voice in front of him. It was a chubby rabbit police officer with a bushy mustache.

"We can share this seat," the rabbit told him.

Ert shrugged his shoulders and hopped into the seat with him.

"You must be new," he said to Ert. "My name's Bernard Hooper, but you can call me Bernie."

"I'm Ernest Pritchard," Ert replied. "But you can call me Ert."
