When our granddaughter and her two kids surprise Grampa with a visit from out of state...






When your heart explodes
and the fireworks outdazzle
any secretly prepared festivities,
when tears glisten
watching the looks of joy
erupt on everyone's faces,
when your hands shake
trying to hold the camera steady
to capture the moment--
and you realize that until this second
you simply didn't comprehend
how much you missed them!
