This Could Be A Big Problem

Eddy's phone rang. He stepped out of the shower, his hair still filled with shampoo, to answer it.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" said a muffled voice that sounded like his wife Cassie's
"Cassie, where are you?"
"Where you left me."
Eddy wracked his brain.
"Where I left you, when?"
"This morning, my sweet."
Eddy was still at a loss.
"I don't think I left you anywhere."
Cassie laughed and a lot of paper rustled.
"We had breakfast at The Good Egg."
"Delicious as usual."
"Then we went to..?"
"Oh no, the mall!"
"Exactly, you finished before me and said you'd wait in the car. When I got to the parking garage, there was no sign of you!"
"I'll be right there," Eddy said as he rinsed off his hair and dried off.
As he sped to the mall, Eddy cursed his forgetfulness. He had visions of the money flying out of their account as he drove.
When he parked in front of the main entrance, all he could see was a giant pile of bags and boxes.
A hand came out of them and waved.
"Cassie! Did you buy out the mall!" he yelled.
His wife popped out from behind the pile, with a single bag.
"Nope, just looking after these for other people." Eddy heaved a sigh of relief.
"Here they are now!" and started for the car. She waved to the shoppers she'd been package sitting for as she left.
"What did you buy me?" Eddy joked.
"That suede shirt you pointed out to me last time we were here," she said.
"Really!"
"Of course, dear. Happy anniversary!"
"Don't suppose you want a socket set or a rolling tool cabinet for our anniversary, do you?" he said chastened.
Cassie just smiled.
