Margot Enderson stood at the doorway, her hands resting on her hips as she watched her three oldest boys—Tomas, Terry, and Tyler—playfully taking turns with Minerva. The sunlight poured through the open door, casting a warm glow over the scene, illuminating the boys' laughter. Minerva dashed between them with infectious enthusiasm, her tail wagging furiously.

Nearby, Margot's two youngest daughters, Greta and her sister Lily, leaned against the wooden doorframe, their small frames silhouetted in the soft light. They observed the joyful chaos unfolding in front of them, their eyes sparkling with delight and their faces adorned with quiet smiles that reflected the happiness of the moment.

After a few more minutes hearty laughter, Margot clapped her hands, the sound cutting through the playful noise. A warm smile spread across her face as she addressed her children. "That's enough for now, sweethearts; your father will want to spend some time with Minerva when we get home. Besides, dinner is almost ready, and I could really use your help setting the table." The promise of a family meal hung in the air, beckoning the children back inside.
