Tears of Emotion

When I'm feeding the tree's, will you think of me now and then.
Will your thoughts be kind and loving, or painfully harsh.
As I look down my tears rain upon the forest,
washing away the fears and anguish of loneliness.
Let me replace the void, with newness of hope,
in a rainbow of life's experience.

I'm sorry I'm not there, to wipe away your tears
I often wonder about you, what are your hopes and fears
Even though I'm not around, each and every day
I want you to know I miss you, in each and every way
Not a day goes by, where my thoughts aren't with you
And I can only hope that yours, are not only filled with love
But remain with me as well
I didn't mean to leave you, I didn't mean to make you cry
My heart will always be with you, my love will never die
My love for you goes on forever, growing more and more
For you will always be the one, I truly do adore
I shall always be with you, and I pray that you will see
Maybe not in solid form, but my love will always be

I never fully understood, what you saw as you watched before
As you looked upon the one thing, that you'd always love and adore
Though times were good and times were bad, you were always there
No matter what, no matter where, you always showed you cared

The gift that was brought unto me, well it was the gift of sight
I realized the love you gave, each time I heard your cries
It took me time but I found it
looking through my mothers eyes

I must do what must be done
For in my heart there dwells no sun
In my mind is only pain
The constant kind like drowning rain
I accept what must be done
The death of a friend or loved one
I cannot feel the nagging ache
That warns me of a mental break
I know what must be done
So I don't use the loaded gun
I need to be, by myself alone
To mend my heart and heal my soul
My love does glow like fiery embers
My mind will accept and remember
