When I was writing regularly I enjoyed working in series. It's a lazy man's game. You have a ready-made set of settings and characters, and a ready-made audience that presumably wants to see more. Apparently I'm too lazy even for this, as these stories ran to completion, but the follow-on never materialized. I keep waiting for that muse to come back. I'd go out looking for her, but that's a quest worthy of Tolkien, and the old gray dude, he ain't what he used to be. I keep coming back to them, but so far, nothing. I'll keep you posted.
