I live in Northern Michigan and New Orleans. I’ve come back to writing in the past 10 years, and am beginning to accomplish some things, slowly. I’ve had some features in newspapers, and I’ve had a couple of poems in a state anthology. I took some genealogy courses and have researched my and my husband’s family. Recently our local Genealogical Society completed an 800-page county history, for which I was chief copy editor. I have edited/proofed the non-fiction, fiction, and poetry for Voices of Michigan, all four volumes. I 've judged poetry in a state-wide contest.
I did the copy edit, line edit and some ghostwriting for Tall Trees, Tall People, a memoir by Rex Southwell.
My sweet husband doesn’t understand my dreams, yet indulges them.
I lost several items in this site when Katrina hit. It was my fault. I was just too distracted to deal with little things like my subscription to writing.com running out.
