I offer no promise of correct spelling/grammer
"No, I'm not mad at you." Abbie said as she scurried around the room. "I just can't stay and talk right now."
'Why not?"
"I have to go to class - you know school."
'Will you be back?"
"Yeah." Abbie stopped and looked at the mirror, "It's only an hour long class, I'll be right back." She frowned.
'Is there something wrong?'
"I think so..." Abbie finished packing her bag and turned to adress the mirror before she left. "It's just, how long have you been watching me?"
'For as long as we've known you.'
Abbie's eyebrows shot up "We?" She repeated.
'Yes, we have been trapped here together.'
"How many are 'we'?"
'Two.'
"Well, 'we' are going to talk about this after class."
'That is fine, Abbie. Could you answer one more question before you go?'
"I suppose, what is it?"
'How long is an hour?'
Abbie stared blankly at her reflection, "An hour is sixty minutes." She finnally said slowly.
'And how long are those?'
"Sixty seconds." Abbie responded again, very slowly.
'Are seconds long?'
"No." Abbie hoped that they wouldn't ask her how long a second was, she really wasn't sure how to answer.
'Very well then we shall see you in one hour.'
Abbie nodded very slowly and then moved to the door. She was reaching for the light when the voice from the mirror spoke again.
'Leave it on, please. We don't like the dark...'

Abbie stared at the board all through History. She was vaugly aware of the fact that her teacher was explaining very important things about the Roman Empire. That these important things would more than likely be on the tast next test. Most important she entirely missed the announcement that the next test would be on Monday.
Abbie couldn't stop thinking about the mirror.
There were a lot of things about it that she didn't understand.
For instance, how could two people be trapped in a mirror?
How long had they been in there?
And where the heck was she going to get dressed in the morning?
Abbie did not want to have to explain to her roommate that she was dressing in the bathroom because there were people trapped in her mirror that could see her. The closet was out as well, too cramped. Maybe she could just throw a cloth over it until she figured out a more peramanent solution.
The cloth would have to do.
Abbie was so busy contemplating strange men (she assumed) in her mirror and feeling more than a little peeved that they had been watching her for her whole life without her knowing that she missed the fact that class was over.
"Is there something you would like to discuss with me?" Her teacher asked from behind her shoulder, causing Abbie's heart to leap to her throught.
"No..." Abbie looked around the room, realizing that it was compleately empty, except for her and her professor. "No, I was just thinking about your lecture..." Which wasn't a tottal lie at teh moment. Abbie had been thinking very hard on the todays lecture.
She had been desperately wondering what it had been about. She vaugly recalled Romans...
