GOOD MORNING, GOD!

Good morning, God!
Thank you for another day -
A clean slate, a fresh start!
Guide me today in the way
I should walk among your people.
Let me shine with your light
And help to light the way for others.
Help me to remember, Lord,
That whatever the day brings
That you are there with me.
I will fear no evil.
I can hear the rain outside, Lord
And I thank you for the warmth of my home.
I pray for the people who are suffering
And homeless, tired and angry
In a world that seems to have lost its way.
Help them to see you, God,
And to come to you for help;
I've been brought to my knees
And you've lifted me back up.
Thank you for the gift of sight,
For being able to speak,
For having the abiilty to write
For always having a dream in my heart.
Thank you for all you have given me
Let me be the kind of person
You have wanted me to be.
Heavenly Father, thank you!
Thank you for your children;
Let me never turn away
To someone in need;
Let me give of what I can
With open arms
To hold tight those who sorrow.
Let me love and be loved
