Remember what it is like to take life slow? Daydreaming, staring at clouds, with nothing to do, and nowhere to go? My Guardian Angel and I, everyday, go sliding on magic rainbows, holding each others hands, one another we truly adore. We slip, slide, spin and twirl, up and down, never falling below; in a mysterious fairy land of our own. We are both Princesses; wearing long, silk gowns, satin slippers, diadems of diamonds, pearls, rubies, garnets, sapphires, so prissy, we primp, dancing, prancing, just so!! Seeing sunsets God has painted, as His own mural, all across, through the sky, Lo!! Magnificent streaks, hues, of brilliant red, blue, yellow, purple and orange. Hovering over foaming, bubbling, turquoise oceans, in boats we row, as the wind floats in the billows, whoa!! Airplanes, skydivers, hot air balloons, above us, around us, under us, going anywhere the wind will blow.

Daydreaming, staring at clouds, not bothering to look down at the Mother Earth below. While we toss razzle-dazzle, lustrous sunbeams back and forth, to and fro, twinkling moonbeams we juggle, their incandescent lights all aglow. Jumping, frolicking, and skipping, from corner to corner, breaking off corners of radiant stars, flinging them into the air, whizzing by, look, heigh-ho, like a gyro!! We swing and fly so high, in our minds, hearts and souls. We see, hear and feel, all these things, and a myriad of images and fantasies more. My Guardian Angel who glows; with lovely smile and golden halo.


Written for my family member for her first Christmas after her mother died. I wrote this poem to cheer and comfort my family member. My poem is about our friendship. We are the angels playng.
