Keeper of the Stars

With the fading of the stars,
that dead hour before dawn,
you'll find what you seek.
A road paved in gold
winding through the sea
of dreams.

When the sun breaks through
it's gossamer blanket of night,
all truths will be revealed,
and your lot will have been cast.

But not until the day that I
have chosen. For I have seen your
soul, and I have read the stars.

So close your eyes, my sleepy one,
go back to sleep. You may hold your
past. But the future I shall keep.
