Its dark as I open the door
My eyes peer in
Wonder whats in store
As you look you can see
A few little traces
Of what is me.
Now as you step in
It becomes clearer
The purpose of me
Becomes a little nearer
Fireplace roars across the room
Fighting back the cold and the gloom
And in its warm and flickering light
You can feel safe
Against the night
Beside the fire stands a chair
Just your size
Why not try it there.
Sit, relax
Tell a story
About adventures long lost
Love and glory
And soon you'll not notice the gloom
That sits outside this little room.
So I wait by my fire
For the knock upon the door
I will wait and never tire
Waiting for a listener
For what good is a story
If no one listens for the glory
Come sit
I bid you well
As I tell you a tale
bout A knight called Will Tell
He's deeds enourmous many and fabled
and here's some ale upon this table.
So enjoy my story but first
We must sit
And that my friends
Is about it.
