THROUGH THE VALLEY OF DEATH

News report brings a doom forecast;
Life as we know it cannot last -
Terrorists threaten to kill us all,
This great nation they want to fall.

So how do we handle the threats we hear?
Can't run and hide, that much is clear.
Stand up for country, stand up for life!
Then kneel and pray to end the strife.

The Bible says and it must be true;
He will walk through the valley with you.
Fear no evil for He is with us -
All we need to do is trust.

"Through the valley of the shadow of death"
I'll repeat these words till my last breath.
They may come, destroy and kill -
But American spirit has a strong will

I think God may be watching us all,
Sees who will stand and who will fall;
The wrath of God we may all feel
With quiet lips, He may seal

The fate of those who would devour
The souls of men in this dark hour;
For any one the terrorists slay
Ten more will rise to the fray.

May Freedom's bell forever ring,
May hearts in God forever sing -
We must face the future with the hope
That God will be there to help us cope.
