Love... the most wonderful and horrible state of being.
An arrow to my chest
Barely missing the chamber
Wherein my heart rests
If I could dissolve your pain
Would only last a moment
Wouldn't keep you near me
Just to hear me
Not long enough to fear me
Your love won't keep me warm
You'd rather do me harm
Immune to your charms
Your intention's unworthy of my attention
Contention
'Gainst all convention
Took my sweetness for weakness
You'll find no safety in my arms
