Musings upon where I've been and where I'm going...
Childhood stories of days gone past,
How I wish I could make them last.
Life just moves too fast.

If I could go back and do it all over again,
It’s a question I ask now and then.
It makes you think of where you’ve been.

Would I take back all I’ve said and done?
It would be like taking away the sun.
At least I can say I’ve had some fun.

Where am I in the scheme of things?
Sometimes I wish I had wings.
Some things are better left in dreams.

Here I am in the best days of my life,
How is it possible for there to be strife?
We all walk a road as narrow as the edge of a knife.

There is so much I have left to do,
Is there anything left that isn’t new?
I am just as lost as you.

Future tales of days to come,
These are the things I sometimes shun,
But in the end we will all become.
