Beating with thick sorrow,
In tears it seeps hollow.

Aching with pain it sighs,
It listened to all your lies.

Bursting with love it danced;
Foolish dreams it romanced.

Beating its beats for you,
Thinking, you loved it too.

Dreaming you'd hold it close,
Fearing not the morose.

But your thriving love shied,
It waited...its hope died.

And now it weeps anew
For it still beats for you.
