The Blue This is blue and it forces through The Ocean, it washes over you And you think all you can ever do Is hope to see this isn’t true Then the sky comes crashing down Right on this lone pathetic clown You stand there in your wedding gown Looking up hoping he’ll leave town The mirror reflects it in your face You pick up on his every trace And as you lay upon this lace All you know is a disgrace Lie to save yourself from their stares And behind you, you feel his glares The blue removes all your cares As you go between these lairs Wake to find the day has gone ahead And you know you feel so dead It wasn’t just what they said But the taste that you’re fed You’re aware of the past as it rises This necklace is changing sizes Choking on what he realizes All of your newfound disguises You can try and hide from it But the blue will foil your wit It finds you were you sit And now you have been hit Come out from the place you stay Everyone wants you to play And wish as hard as you may There’s no escaping this day All of what happened to you dear Crying and drowning on this tear Somehow you’re still standing here The blue has found all you fear -poet Darka |
