SINFUL

So tough to take an inner blow
Not shining when you glow
Life’s gotten me down once more
The lock’s broken on my emotions’ door

Life burns and scars my face
A loving sin shines my disgrace
Through the misbehaviors I know
My good I shall refuse to show

I am blessed for wanting forgiveness
Rewarded with such lovely happiness
But never written in the old book
Was anything about what I took
