As friends, we’ve spent many nights
Talking, sharing, caring, even having some fights.
When we were apart, no matter how long
When we came back, with you I felt strong.

I was young, I was stupid, for that I have no excuse.
But through time I realized, you were too precious to lose.
You large, brown eyes, your beautiful smile,
And I am so very sorry, it took me such a while.

My heart started aching when you weren’t by
And then I wondered, why was I so shy?
I should have told you, should have held you close
Kissed you, and told you with you my heart glows.

You beautiful lips I lingered to touch,
I wanted to stroke you, to hold you so much.
To run my fingers through you shiny, brown hair,
My love, with you, I wanted to share.

I still remember that faithful day I knew,
I held you close, and whispered, “I love you”.
You seemed surprised, but your eyes told me you weren’t,
You felt the attraction; it was like an electric current.

You hugged me so tight, I held you so close.
With you I sense my heart only grows.
Your heart was beating fast and my knees were shaking,
I looked at you and you were absolutely breathtaking.

I remember that moment, how scared we both were,
There was no one there, the world was a blur.
It was only me and you, in your quiet, little room,
We stood there so close, our love seemed to bloom.

I then looked up at you, and you smiled at me,
Feeling so warm, so loved, my heart filled with glee.
I held you even closer and we embraced in a kiss,
Feeling your moist lips, this was perfect bliss.

We’ve known each other for so long,
Emotions intertwined and strong.
At first as friends, and then as lovers,
We’ve grown together, blossoming flowers.

And now baby, on our wedding day
Let life lead us as it may.
One thing I can promise you, and believe me its for sure.
Our love is something so special, so pure.

My friend, my boyfriend, and forever my lover.
With you new things I always want to discover.
I know such love as we have, we’ve experienced never
