FURIES

Have I mentioned lately you're not winning
And have I mentioned your faith is thinning
You tried to pray but you fell apart
You try and redeem, but where to start?

The angels refuse to shed their tears
And demons don't want your fears
The sun will never shine for you again
Nor will the clouds even bother to rain

Fate can't stand to cry or laugh at you
It seems every little thing has gone askew
You'd run, but you can't even stand up
You'd drink the poison, but you have no cup
Whispers of nightmares continue in your mind
You've become their most favorite new find
