la famille Gilbert (the Gilbert family)

          You will need the vocabulary (le vocabulaire) from last month. I hope you made a copy. Oh, well, this time I'll give you another copy plus a few new words that you will need to know to understand the story.

         Below is a short story about the Gilbert (pronounced Zilbear) family. Starting next month activities will be presented using the information from la vacabulaire and the story. You may want to make a copy of le vocabulaire and the story.

La famille Gilbert

         La famille Gilbert est grande. Antoine et Marie sont les grands-parents. Le père est Maurice. Qui est la mère? Janine est la mère. Charles, Michel, Denise et Claudette sont les enfants. Charles et Michel sont frères. Ils sont les fils de Marice et de Janine. Denise et Claudette sont soeurs. Elles sont les filles de Maurice et de Janine. Il y a huit personnes dans la famille. Il ya aussi les chiens: Féroce et Terreur. Il ya a aussi les chats: Tigre et Griffe. La famille est de Paris, France. Quelle famille mangifique!
