A planet forgotten by humans. Please Read!!! Please!!!!! Its just an excerpt.
Faun, the Forgotten Planet

(This is part of a novel type story deal I'm working on. It starts in a part in the middle but I am building around it. Please review it, I want to know if its interesting. I decided to call the planet Faun after the Roman God of nature since this planet is very... in tune shall I say... with nature and life)

When I add new stuff to it, I'll put the old stuff in red and the new stuff will be black.

“Always with the questions, Ever,” the Professor lowered his glasses as he spoke, “When do you find time to rest?”

“I don’t rest, Professor Lorell. Sometimes a little nap between classes or during lunch, sometimes, if I’m lucky, at night.” Ever chuckled.

“You worry me,”

“I’ll be fine. Now could you please answer my question Professor?”

“On Earth,” the professor began in his wise voice, “Dragons only exist in books and moving pictures called movies. There are smaller animals that look like the wingless dragons of the lakes and oceans. They are called lizards. When the Earth was young though, the dinosaurs lived there. The unicorns died out long ago and there are no fairies. Like our planet, there are the mighty whales of the sea, birds although they are all a lot smaller, most mammals live on both planets, and humans.”

“Ick,” Ever exclaimed at the very mention of humans, “Such vile creatures they are. Earth used to be the most beautiful place in the solar system until they came around."

“They were good at first,” Lorell sighed, “no one understood what happened.”

“I remember only the evil things we have stood by and watched them do.”

Lorell laughed, “It was millions of years ago. Our leaders made friends with them, alliances. When the Great War between our planet and Saturn broke out they helped to save our planet. In return, we bestowed upon them, the greatest gift any planet can give to another.

We shared with them our rarest and wisest species of wild horse, the Unicorn and the Pegasus. They became a thriving species on Earth until they were hunted out of existence. All that remain today are the unwinged and no-horned horses they so disrespectfully degrade. Humans on Earth today say that the unicorn and the Pegasus never existed.

That was the end between our relationships with humans. Afterwards the Vikings exiled any creature of our planet from ever visiting Earth. We have no need to exile them though, because they are too stupid to figure out how to get this far from Earth.”

Ever was fascinated by this story. He wondered if that could ever happen on Faun.
