Inside of Me.

Imitating happiness, I hide my tears and smile.
Laughing at the powerless, hypocritical denial.
Open my eyes and feel the sorrow flow.
All this sadness is getting harder not to show.

Break open my mind and open up my dreams.
Help me see what you do, there has to be more to me.
Open my eyes to a brighter light inside of myself.
Emptiness is taking over, there isn't much left.

Hold on to my hand and guide me home.
In case I fall, pick me up, dont leave me alone.
It's just so hard to live inside myself
Open me to the world outside of my loneliness.
