Crystal had to fight Kurt with Swords. Silver had to learn how to use her power offencivly and not only Defencivly By the time night came Crystal and Silver colapsed on to their beds and Slept. |

She said she would see her mother soon and that she loved her. "Kelly?" A whisper said coming from behind the door. Kelly opened it a crack and peered into the face of her 4 year old brother. "Hi Mickey." She said kneeling down to him. "Where you gonna go?" He asked his brown eyes meeting hers. "Away. I'll be back. Be good?" Kelly whispered hugging him. "Ok." He said nodding. Kelly heard her mother coming up the stairs and thought that would be a hard goodbye. Kelly closed the door to her room and took one last look at it. | Name: Alexander ‘Xander’ Camp Age: 17 Gender: Male Nickname: Red Dragon Appearance: Long dark brown hair that falls a few inches above mid-back. It is somewhat stingy and thin and normally kept in a ponytail. His skin is light and his eyes are dark brown. He is 5’10” in height and a little skinny at 170 pounds though he is a lot stronger than he looks. He sometimes forgets to shave and he looks generally like he is 20 instead of 17. He sometimes wears dark clothing, chains and paints his fingernails dark colors. Though he does not always. He also has a red dragon tattoo on his back. Personality: Xander can be a bit morbid and cynical. However, he is very smart which one would not gather by his appearance. He can seem a little bit standoffish and like a jerk but if you would truly get to know him you would see that’s not the case. He, however, keeps to himself and lets very few people, if any, in. He prefers to be alone and is quite independent. Powers: He manipulates heat. From his mouth he blows heat to his hands which conducts it. Its sort of like a microwave. He can use it to simply heat food or someone who is cold, to igniting a flame that burns on an object. However, he cannot use or control any fire, including one that he created. Family: Xander’s family died when he was young. Ever since then he has been living from foster care to foster care with no place to call his own. __________________________________ Alexander slightly grinned as he watched everyone’s eyes fall on him. He was wearing all black and blood red nail polish. He knew that by doing this he would be expelled. His foster parents sent him to some rich fancy Prep School that made you wear school uniforms. He despised that. So this was his answer. Sure enough one of the biggest preps of the whole school, Shannon Meyer, shrieked at seeing him and ran and told the teacher. He smirked. He was glad that she found him so appalling. He could not stand that girl worth anything. She was always flaunting around everyone about how her father was so rich, and most of the students parents could hardly afford the school, let alone anything else for their child. Because of this Xander tried to make life especially hard for Shannon and had used his powers a few times on her stuff and she had come to find her papers rather burnt. This amused him. Alexander was a mutant. And while he mostly kept that fact hidden he was not in any way ashamed of his identity, he rather embraced it. His own powers was the ability to manipulate heat, mostly he did this by breathing on his hands and conducting it to use it how he wanted. And because of this he nicknamed himself the ‘Red Dragon’. A name that he believed fit himself quite well. So much so that he even got a tattoo, unknown to his foster parents, of a red dragon on his back. Xander just stood there going through his locker until he felt a tap on his shoulder. “Mr. Camp. The principal would like to see you in his office.” He turned around to see his History teacher, Mrs. Rice, staring at him. He grinned slyly. “I would think so.” He then nodded and walked off to the principal’s office. This would be fun. |

When storm got here they boarded the jet and strapped him in then Rogue knocked him out for safety procations. Silver senced urgentness in the telepath "sorry midnight but i have to cut our rider short."silver told her horse. Kelly had felt a telepaht to someone telling them to go to the hospital room. someone's hurt and they hope that their friend will help save her. "really" said John "I said that out loud" asked Kelly. "yes and if that telepath was to Silver then i know who it was about. I can show you." said John. "you would thanks"said Kelly John shouted "hey Silver can we come with ya" "sure but hurry" said the girl called Silver. The three arived at the hospital room and were let in "ahhh Silver you brought 2 others with you thats fine. Crystal keeps Kicking Prof.Xavier out and we need someone to bring down the walls so be thought if you talked with her that She would let Prof.Xavier in long enough to figure out what's wrong. | Silver began to talk to Crystal and Kelly and Prof. Xavier went into her mind. Kelly stared down a long hallway with more halls and doors. Very far off into the distance Kelly swore she saw a staircase. "It's been a while since I've been this deep into someone's mind." Kelly said to Prof. Xavier. "Yes I know." He said and zoomed off down the hallway. "Uhhh....What exactly are we looking for?" Kelly asked her head zooming from door to hallway. "We'll know when we see it." He said. "Thats reassuring." Kelly muttered. "Try that door." Prof Xavier said motioning to the door. Kelly opened it and was in a large room with file cabinets. Kelly opened one of the file cabinets. She pulled out a folder. In it was papers and a disk. "But weres the.."Kelly started but then a computer appeared before her. Kelly slipped in the disk and saw a younger about 2 playing in a sandbox. Her parents were sitting on a bench whispiring excitedly. "These are all memories." Prof. Xavier said looking around the room. "Hmmmm....well lets continue looking." Kelly said ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Then when you wake up we'll go horse back riding. You'll love it I promise." Silver said to a motionless Crystal. Silver looked up and saw Kelly and Prof. Xavier lost in a trance. Occasionally thier mouths would twitch but no sound ever came out of them. "Then we can go horseback riding at night. Its the most beautiful when you go at night." Silver continued looking down at Crystal. |

Personality: Very serious, austere and determined. She is incredibly disciplined and mature. Eden is a bit of a loner, but when she does make a friend, she will do anything for that person. Powers: She can bend the elements to her will (cause earthquakes, make plants grow, control fire, turn small gusts of wind into fierce gales, etc). Though she can control the elements she can't call them up yet, so for her powers to work the element must be there for her to use. Most of the lights had been broken and it was hard to see. "Oh lovely what could have broken these lights?" Kelly said kicking glass out of thw way. This is the deepest you can get into the brain. It would take years and years to search just one section of it." Xavier said sternly. "Well can't we go into a less defined aspect of the brain." Kelly asked. Xavier nodded and with a whirl of wind they were in a white room. "Ok I didnt mean this undefined. If were in here we'll only hear her current thoughts." Kelly said biting her thumb. "Just wait." Xavier said. Kelly stood thier impatiently then a high pitched laugh echoed off the walls. "Now lets go farther into the mind." Xavier said. "The feelings section?" Kelly asked. Xavier nodded and then they were wisked away to another room. This one was smaller and also white. The feelings room changed colors to what the person's emotion was and it also filled in with a thought. For example if someone was really mad the room would turn a bright red and a thought might come in saying 'I hate whoever'. The walls began to turn a soft grey color and Crystal voice echoed off them "Help me hes in my head He-" the voice said but then the walls turned a black color and the high pitched laughter sounded again. "Now lets go deeper."Xavier said "What are we doing?" Kelly asked as they went back to the dark hallway. "Setting a trap." Xavier smiled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Silver watched as Crystal lay as still as a statue. Suddendly Crystal began to thrash around violently and beads of sweat began to drip down her forehead. | Kelly's head peaked up at hearing the scream. She leaned back and looked down the hallway. "Uhh Proffesor?" Kelly said looking at Xavier as he shuffled throw memories. He paid no attention to her. Kelly walked down the hall and heard the scream again. She stopped at a door and creaked it open slowly. Inside she saw Crystal backed into a corner and a man standing over her. He was very handsome and he had that high pitched laugh that they had heard before. |
| Xander sighed. He sat outside of the door wondering exactly how Crystal was doing. But so far no one had told him anything. He had never been in this situation before and it was confusing him. Just why in the world was this happening to her?! He shook his head and leaned himself up against the door trying to gain some incentive to not go insane with worry. But so far he was stumped. It was then in that moment that Xander heard shouts coming from the room that Crystal was staying in. And despite his feelings he ran in there and saw her just laying on the bed in convulsions. So in his mind he did the first thing he could think of. ”Keep still. I sure hope this works” He then placed his hands upon her forehead and slightly blew upon them. He knew this would cause a slow uprising of heat within her body. He just hoped it was enough to cause whatever it was to go away. |
Eden waited patiently at the airport. She had been on a planr for hours upon hours, making her way from Egypt, her mother's birthplace. She longed for a hot bath and a long rest, but still no one had come to pick her up. She had no way of knowing where her mother was, but she did have a certain calling card that would attract her mother's attention. "Fine, if my own mother cannot remember me, I shall remind her." Eden went out of the terminal and walked to a park. Finding an empty bit of grass, Eden stopped and waited a moment. A gust of wind picked up and Eden amplified it, calling up a sudden windstorm. Her eyes were white and she spoke into the air. "Perhaps she'll recognize her namesake." Eden kept the storm going and walked as she went, the storm following her every step. She came upon a small lake. The water rose into the sky and the fierce gale made clouds become full and drop rain. "I can keep this going so long as there are elements for me to use." "There is no need for that Eden." Storm said coming near her daughter. "I'll take you the school now. I am sorry that I forgot about you, but I have a good reason." |

Has a bad temper and is loyal to those she trusts Power- is a pyro but can control any sorce of fire. gets her power from either the fire or the sun. she uses her power to heal and to protect -- Nikki runs from the two people chasing her. Suddenly the girl who was chasing her is in front of her. Sh eputs up a fire sheild and throws fire balls at the woman. Then all of a sudden everything goes black. Back at the school, Wolverine places Nikki on a infermery bed and straps her down. He sees strom is burnt and helps her. Then both of them go cheak on Crystal. --Nikki wakes up pissed. She knew she had been tranquilized. She tied to move but found that she was restrained. She focused and melted each strap. Then she looked around and found another girl in there will a boy, a man and another girl. Nikki goes up to the boy and asks what he is doing. He says he is trying to help his friend. Nikki nods and feels heat coming from his hand. "Give me your hands." she says. The boy looked confused but did it any way. Nikki pulled him over so that she could be by the girl head. Then she placed oe hand on the girl's haed and covered her other with both of the boy's hands. "Focus on sending me all of your power." Nikki says. Thee boy concentrates and Nikki feels her hand grow warm soon followed by the rest of her body. Nikki closes her eyes and concentrates on the girl. She senses there are three people inside her mind. Nikki forces them ou using a fire sheild. After a few minutes the sheild is starting to drain Nikki's power but the boy's was still coming strong. Nikki pushed harder and wove the sheild tighter until she felt all the beings leave. Nikki felt the girl stirr and opened her eyes. Nikki smiled at the boy and looked at the girl who was opening her eyes also. Nikki took her hand from the boy's and sat on the bed. "Stay still. This might sting a little." Nikki said to the girl then placed both hands on the girl's head. She made the sheild extremely strong then left. As Nikki stood she felt drained and the last thing she remembered before the blackness swallowed her was the boy looking at her in amazment. |

"professor why is Crystal going back to sleep?"asked Silver "because she never really was asleep she was always fighting and never rested like the erest of us." he explained. | During the night Kelly decided to a little dream walking. The first persons drean she slipped into was Silver. Silver dream: Silver was riding and horse and dint seem to notice Kelly at all. The sun shone bright and birds. Suddendly the sky grew dark and there were loud hoofbeats and several black riders barreled after Silver. Silver didnt even notice. Kelly yelled and then was thrown out of the dream. Kelly sat up and bed. She shook her head and then decided to go into Nikki's dream. Nikkis Dream: Nikki was swimming in a pool and then suddendly they were inside and running down a hallway. Nikki and Kelly stopped at the end of a hallway and looked for somewhere to run to. They were breathing hard and looked scared. Suddendly Nikki began to scream something at Kelly and her heands lit on fire. Nikki was screaming and pointing. Kelly turned around and saw John, Xander and Crystal standing there screaming and pointing. Kelly strained her ears but couldnt hear a word of what they were saying. Kelly turned around and was yanked from the dream. Kelly sat up in bed again an ran a hand through her hair. "Its like they're telling the future." Kelly muttered. She bit her lower lip and slipped into Crystal's dream. Crystals Dream: Kelly watched Crystal as she walked around the school looking at all the sleeping people. Silver, Xander, Nikki, Kelly and John were all sleeping on a couch piled over one another. Kelly continued to watch Crystal and twice she looked and walked straight through her. Kelly shivered. She hated when that happened. Suddendly Crystal dissapeared. Kelly knew that Crystal had woken up from her dream. So why hadnt Kelly been yanked out of the dream. Kelly began to scream but couldnt escape the dream. Then she began to switch from dream to dream and couldnt escape from any of her friends nightmares. ~~~~~~~~~Out in the realworld Kelly thrashed around as she tried to escape the nightmares of her friends. Three people entered Kelly's room whispering "Kelly are you ok?" |
| "You were in my dream." Nikki yelled. "She can't hear you." Xander said. "Oh yeah just watch."Nikki said. Nikki sat on the floor and so did the others. Nikki grabbed Crystal's hand and Xander's hand. Then she told them to focus and concentrate. They all sank into a deep meditation. Nikki stood up and ran from room to room. Xander and Crystal looked for Kelly. All of a sudden they heard screams. They ran down the hallway and found Nikki standing over Kelly with her hands lit on fire. Then out of nowhere Profesore Xavior showed up. "What's going on?" he asked. Nikki is stuck in our dreams and apparently this is what happened." Nikki answered rembering the time when she was little and her friend had gotten stuck in Nikki's dream. Nikk stood back and created a fire barrier around Crystal and Kelly. Then she told Crystal to go to sleep. Crystal dissapeared and then Nikki told Profesor Xavier and Xander to leave. They left and Nikki turned to Kelly. "Never enter my dreams again. Got it?" she said. Kelly nodded and then Nikki ripped the sheild away and Kelly dissapeared. __________________________________________________ When I awaoke I was back in my bed and Crystal was asleep. I looked around and saw that Xander and Professor Xavier were in my room also. Nikki was sitting on the floor. I went over to Crystal and shook her. She woke up and hugged me tight. Then all of a sudden flames erupted around Nikki as she snapped out of her transe. "Never again." she said to Kelly then left the room. |
| Xander shook his head as he walked out of the room. He wished these girls would stop playing games with him. And as far as he was concerned if they didn't he would find somewhere else to stay. It was all too confusing for him. He then walked down the long corridor to his room with Pyro when he felt someone knock into him. His dark brown eyes looked up to notice a female's. He just stared at her for a while for she was quite beautiful, and around his age unlike the other girls. "I'm sorry." He said quickly. "Is there anything I can help you with?" "No, I'm just looking for my- Storm." Is all she said. "Oh. Well..." He let his voice trail off as he watched the girl's eyes and beautiful dark hair glitter. "I think she is talking with Rogue down in the den." "Okay." She said. She then looked at Alexander for a few seconds before just ushering herself off down the hall. He sighed as he continued to walk into his room. He saw Pyro just sitting there not saying anything. He then took a pillow and hit him with it and then sat down next to him. "You know, we would make a good team." He laughed. "I can use my heat to ignite the flames and you could control it." Pyro just glanced at him with an odd look. "Random today?" Xander nodded. "I just don't want to think about things right now. There's too much on my mind." "With Crystal?" Pyro looked at him. "Though its slightly scary, no, its not just Crystal. But I can't get out of my mind that that could happen to any of us." He answered as the thoughts swirled though his mind. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been thinking about it too." Pyro replied. "Anything else that's been on your mind though?" Xander just slightly smiled and shook his head. "Sorta... among other things." He 'forgot' to mention the tiny part about his 'leaving' or thoughts thereof. "There is this girl here..." Pyro chuckled. "Girls are good. What's her name?" "I don't know. I just saw her!" He grinned. "But she has long black hair, she's tall, amazing blue eyes that hold purple to them." Pyro just shook his head and glanced at him. "That's Eden, Storm's daughter. Just be a little leary of her, okay?" Alexander looked at him oddly. Why was John telling him this? Did he not like Eden? Whatever the reason, Xander was confused. For he did not feel that Eden was in any way harming anyone. |
| "why is this happening to people. I mean this is the second person to be taken into their mind.I just hope....."and she trailed off in her sentence. "you hope what Miss Crystal" said Xavier "it's nothing I hope" ' Miss crystal do you just want to talk later just me and you?' ' sure professor Xavier' telepathed crystal. "kelly can you hear me " asked Crystal "yay and i have a Major headack." said Kelly 'thank god she is alright' "so you ever going to do that again what ever you did" asked Crystal "Nope not For a LOOOOOONG time" said Kelly. "good" said everyone 'you scared me and i hope that the thing that trapped us is gone' "oh but i am all but gone little one." said Mind Bender "i'll get you in physical form this time so i can take you little by little" said Mind Bender. Crystal Shivered and asked professor Xavier if the could talk privetly now. "yes we can follow me"said Professor Xavier. "now what did you want to talk about"he asked "well my dreams re getting weird the first one i had that was out of the ordinary was after i got Xander here to the school, It was about an eclipes and then i had on tonight that happened durring an Eclipse." "can i look in your mind to see them. I just need you to relax and remain relaxed." said prof.X "alright" said Crystal as she relaxed. Professor Xavier looked at the dreams and nothing more. "yes they are Strange....Give me some time to think about what they mean and ill get back to you." said Prof.X "yes Professor Xavier |
| Crystal went back to her room. The next day they all went to classes as usual. During training Crystal was paired with the new girl. "Hey what's your name?" Crystal asked Nikki. "You can call me Py." Nikki said. "Ok. My name is Crystal." Crystal said. "Let's just get this over with." Py said. Crystal nooded and started with martial arts. Py put up a fire barrier that kept Crystal at bay. Then Crystal called up a sword made by the sun's rays. Py made a sword of fire. The two fought with their weapons and then Py did a quick move pinned Crystal to the ground and Lit a fireball. "Good job ladies." Professor Xavier called. "Can I leave now?" Py whined. "Actually no. I want you to battle someone else." Professor Xavier said. Py rolled her eyes and Crystal left the ring. A few moments later Wolverine entered the ring. Everyone gathered around. Py lit a circle of fire around herself and Wolverine extended his claws. Py threw fireballs at Wolverine who doged them and started running to Py. She instantly put up her sheild. Then she concentrated and Wolverine starred in disbelief as his claws started to melt. An evil grin crossed Py face and then she lunged for wolverine. Wolverine revesed the attack and sent Py flying into the air. Just as she was about to fall wings of fire sprouted from her back and she landed gracefully in the ring. "You can't win so give up now." Py called. "We'll see about that." Wolverine said back. "Don't try my patience." Py called then created another sword of fire. She attacked Wolverine swiftly and burned his back and shoulder then all of a sudden she stopped. |
| Bescause a cold gust of wind came gusting into the training area. Wolverine put his claws at her throat and did not continue "Why did you stop Py" said Crystal " I dont want to talk about it please."said Py "come on I promiss i wont laugh at all." "that gust of cold air made my powers useless" Py wisspered to Crystal "oh." said Crystal "Crystal i want you to battle Scott to hone you skills then you can go up against Kurt." siad Professor Xavier. Scott used his beams and Crystal was Deflection them like a jedi would off their lightsabers. When crystal Finally deflected on to wound scott She had to face Kurt. "m'lady" said Kurt before they were locked in combat. Everyone was shocked to see that Crystal was keeping up with Kurt without breaking a sweat. Crystal jumped back and then joined her swords at the hilt and threw them at kurt then pulled out 2 more swords and kept the other two circleing them coming in a trying to help disarm him. Professor Xavier was surprised to see that Crystal seemed to be a SwordMistress that matched Kurt move for move. 'This looks like a dance' thought Py as she Cheered on Crystal. Crystal came in under kurt's Swords and backed up then Went to disarm his tail with her spare ones and Succeded 'ok one down two to go' Thought crystal as she let the bonded swords fade into the air. Kurt did not go back for his other sword and concentrated on Trying to defeate Crystal. Crystal Brought out her natural wings and took to the sky. Kurt saw that she now had just a bit more momentum to attack with. She Disarmed Kurt within a few short minute. She floated to the ground hid her wings and let go of her swords. She was panting from the use of so much energy and concentration. She walked to the seats and sat beside Kurt and Py. "good fight" crystal said to Kurt "You to M'lady" said Kurt in Response. | ...Py you can go against Scott now." Py was mad about earlier and when she entered the ring she immediatly set up a barrier. This time when Scott used his beams Py held out her hand and absorbed them. Then she flicked her hand toward Scott. Just as the flames were about to hit Py stopped them from engulfing Scott. "Move!" she yelled to Scott. He jumped out of the way and Py let go of the flames.Scott bowed in defeat and left the ring. Kurt came into the ring next and Py didn't want to show any mercy. Py quickly brought up her fire sword and lundged for Kurt who used his sword to defend. Then when he tried to use his tail Py smiled and touched his tail. Kurt swung his tail away and showed the massive burn to everyone then while he was complaining Py quickly tokk her sword acros his throught and touched his back. The power of the fire consumed her and all Py could think about was the years of running she had to sufer and abou all of the people who had abused her trust. She didn't trust anyone here either. They could be training her for evil for all she knew. She threw Kurt to the ground and ran out of the training room. She heard Crystal behind her. She ran faster and when Crystal wouldn't give up she turned on her and lit her body on fire so that no one could touch her then started sending fireballs to her. Crystal deflected them all but was quickly tiring. In the back groung Py heard Crystal yell for someone to freeze her. Py gave up and ran to her room. She paced the floor and slowly calmed down. When she did she realized that everyone now knew her weakness and would use it against her. Someone knocked on the door. Py threw a fire ball at it and it burst into flames. How could she have been so stupid. Not caring who was outside Py curled up and put her head on her knees and waited. |
| Crystal felt bad for giving away Py's Weakness. 'It's all my Falt i had to let it slip' thought Crystal as she walked away she walked till she could not anymore so she sat down. "oh Selen why must it be so hard for me to get friends and not give away their Secerts." asked Crystal then got up and went to the indoor Guardin and went to the Rose section. Crystal walked through the Rows of flowers and was set at ease. Then one Rose caught her eye it was silver and gold petles "wow a Rose that is like me two parts and many hidden things instore" said Crystal as she sat down. Crystal heard a sweet soft song playing and could not resist but falling asleep. "now i have the one person who can make all the difference to how the Eclipse effects everyone."said a figure then picked her up and disappered into the shadows. |
| I looked and there was noone on the other side of my door. I went outside and knew something was wrong. I ran to Crystal's room and when she wasn't there I went outside to the guardin. I saw a flower that was two different colors and new that someone had taken Crystal. It had to be Mind Bender. He was the one who had trapped Kelly in Crystal's mind the other night and he was the one who trapped Crystal in her mind back in the infermery. I ran inside and found everyone asleep. I knew it was Mind Bender's doing. I now knew that I had to stop Mind Bender from getting insde Crystal's mind. But how????? Why wasn't I asleep though??? I guess it must have been because I was ignoring everyone so I must not have been in range of watever caused this. I went outside and set fire to the flower then traced Crystal's heat. |
| Kelly set her book down. 2 hours of reading had really started to make her eyes hurt. She also noticed it was unusually still in the library. Kelly looked around and saw that everyone was asleep. Kelly stood up so fast she knocked her chair to the floor. She ran out into the hallway and saw more people asleep. Just dropped and slumped on the ground. Kelly knew this had to be the work of Mind Bender. This was almost exaclty like Crystal's dream. Kelly heard footsteps coming towards the library. Kelly ran into the library and hid behind the door. She was going to wack whoever came in through that door. The footsteps drew nearer and Kelly grabbed the heaviest nearby book and swung. She heard a groan and someone fall to the floor. Kelly stepped out from her hiding spot and found John on the floor holding his nose. "Oh John! I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" Kelly asked kneeling down next to him.John sat up "Yeah I'll be fine. Good hit." He said his eyes watering. "Thanks." Kelly said helping John to his feet. "Everyone is asleep." John said. |
| Crystal awoke chained to the wall. "what's going on?" asked crystal "well Little one your in my lair where you'll stay till i get what i want." said Mind Bender "but you'll be sorry when the X-men come." said Crystal "my dear little one I'm sorry to say that with out you at the school when the Eclipse started everyone fell asleep. Now I can either have you secrets now or let you suffer by chaining up every one you hold dear asleep and torchure them." Crystal Lost it when her friend, NEW family, and Anyone who cared about her got threatened. The powers hidden and unknown took over "You shall not harm them" said Crystal In a goddess Like voice then her powers knocked out Mind Bender well enough that he lost his adult look and became a Teen around the age of 13,14 so Crystal Still possesed by her powers opened a portal and took Mind Bender and herself back to the School. As the Eclipse passed Py who was Following Crystal's Heat Found her on the schools campus hair pure Silver and passed out with someone tied up beside her. "well time to go get Prof.X and tell him about Crystal." said Py as Kelly and John came by "hey Need help carrying them inside to Prof.X" asked John "sure thanks" said Py as she smiled and was Glad Crystal was alright. |
| Kelly helped Py drop Crystal off at Prof. Xavier's office. Py explained everything to Prof. Xavier in detail and Kelly and John left the office. |
| Professor Xavier came out and saw Crystal Stir. "crystal Are you alright."asked prof.X crystal stood up and walked to the window. 'It had to happen like my dream a bit but then again i felt a few who did not fall under the spell' Crystal Sighed turned to the professor looking ready to talk about everything but then saw Silver. 'she is so much like me hidden abilities answers yet to find, one power at at time to master is where it ends then im on my own maybe i should leave and encase myself in a crystal so no one can use me again. So many choices yet which is the right one?'"so Crystal what happened before the Eclipse and dont think like that please." "yes professor Xavier. Well i went after Py that day and then I felt louse for giving away her weaknessso i went to the Rose Guardin and then looked and saw a different Rose that stood out and i sat down and not long after that i feel asleep and then i woke up chained up to a wall by Mind Bender, when he threatened the school all my powers known and unknow took over and possesed me then i came here i guess and then woke up here." said Crystal "You two can go to your rooms now and i wish to speak with you later Crystal"said Profssor Xavier "yes professor" said Crystal. |
| Kelly walked with John as many students groggily walked around not sure of what had just happened. Suddendly Kelly heard Mind Bender's meanicing laugh. "Did you hear that?" Kelly asked John. "Hear what?" John asked puzzeled. The laughter sounded again but this time much louder. "There it is again" Kelly said stopping him. "I dont hear anything." John smiled. This time Kelly could hear Mind Bender speaking "Tomorrow night. When they're all eating I'll get them." Mind Bender said. "You cant hear that?" Kelly asked. "Are you ok?" John asked confused. "The plans already in motion." Mind Bender said and then laughed again but this time there was another male laugh joining Mind Bender's. She shook her head and a new voice came into her mind. "Shes kinda wierd." A female voice that Kelly recognized as Py's. Kelly turned around and saw Py right in front of her. "Uh. Hi." Kelly said. "Hey." Py said softly. "Uh is the Proffesor stil in his office?" Kelly asked. "yeah." Py said not looking at Kelly. "Whats going on?" John asked. "I can't explain right now. I gotta run but I'll explain later." Kelly said walking backwards towards the Prof. Xavier's office. Silver and Crystal walked out just as Kelly walked in. "Proffesor is it possible to read Mind Bender's mind?" Kelly asked. "No it's impossible. Why?" Prof. Xavier said. "Cause I think I am." Kelly answered. |
| Py watched Kelly dissapear down the hall towards Prof. X's office. John looked at Py but she didn't look at him. "What did you mean when you said she's kinda weird?" John asked. Instead of answering him Py turned and walked away. John followed her as she headed strait for the fire in the library. "Py? What are you doing? Why aren't you answering me? Do you know something?" John asked. Py walked over to the fire and placed her hand in the fire. Then she went zooned out. When John talked to her she wouldn't respond. John got worried and ran for Prof. avier's office. "Proffesor. I'm worried about Py. She's acting strange and she won't respond." John said. "Let's go." Prof. Xavier said. When they got back into the library Py was crying and screaming for Crystal. "Get Crystal." Prof. Xavier said. "Nikki. Nikki can you hear me?" Prof. Xavier asked. Py didn't respond and when he tried to enter her mind he met a fire wall protecting her mind. It was like the one that Crystal's mind had kicked him out with. Crystal ran into the room and Py looked at her and grabbed her wrist. Crystal started screaming but Py wouldn't let go. A few moments later Py's hair turned firey red and Crystal stopped screaming. Then Py passed out. |
| Crystal caught Py before she could hit the floor. "py thank you so much and in return i give you the protection on Apollo and Selen so that Mind Bender can not use you against me ever again. You are a true Friend" said crystal as she Glows Silver and Gold transfering it to Py. "please take her John" was the last thing Crystal said before passing out from exaustion. "why did she faint" asked John "well she gave a huge blessing to Py and it took a lot of Energy on her part to tranfer it to Py." said Prof.X " oh said John and put Py on her bed in her room. "thank goodness that Mind Bender can't get to you." said john as he left her room. "John would you please watch over Py while she sleeps?" asked Prof. Xavier. "sure but what about Crystal?"asked John "don't Worry she'll be taken to her room by wolverin and watched over by Jene" said Prof. Xavier. |
| Py woke up an hour later and felt horrible. She was mad for being weak and scarred that she might not have been able to savw Crystal. She knew somone was outside her door because she could feel their heat. Py was fed up with havng someone to watch her and got mad. She started thorwing fireballs all around the room and burning everythng. Little did she notice that her hair had lit on fire too. John smelled something burning in the room and immediatly opened the door. Inside was the pissed off version of Py and she was trying to burn the room down. He smiled and noticed that her powers were becoming stronger. "Py." he chuckled. Py turned to him and called the fire back to her. John watched in amazment how she had complete controll of all the fire in the room. "What?" she asked. She sounded irritated and upset. "Are you okay?" John asked getting worried. Instead of answering him Py walked over to the window and sat down and created a blanket of fire around herself. "Leave me alone." was all she said. "Come on. Let's go cheak on Crystal." John said. Py looked at him for a second then closed her eyes. "She's fine. Mind Bender didn't get to her and she's asleep." Py said when she looked back at John. "How do you know?" John asked. Py glared at him and then threw a fire ball at him. John caught it and threw it back at Py. She stared at it and stopped it in mid air. Then she looked at the floor and dropped it. "Come on. You don't even want to play with fire?" John asked. "I control it. I never play with it. Just leave me alone okay." Py said. John tried to step closed to Py but she put up a sheild of fire that John could not get through. "Fine." John gave up and walked out of the room. Moments later he heard Py hrl some fireballs at the door and it burst into flames. Then before John cold stop her she ran from the room to where Crystal was. When she got there Crystal was awake and she smiled at Py. Py didn't smile back. Instead Crystal felt her wanting to leave. "Wait." Crystal called. Instead Crystal saw Py run. ohn saw Py running and ran after her. "What is up with you?" he asked. "Nothing I just don't know what to do. I feel strange." Py said. "Let's go talk to Prof. Xavier then." John said. "Pyro. Quit trying to... Never mind. Let's go." Pyro stared at Py in amazment. When she started to walk away he noticed that her hair was covered in falmes. Natural flames that made up her hair. |
| Kelly laid in bed staring at the ceiling. She sighed and looked at her alarm clock. It blared 2:45 am. Kelly couldnt get to sleep. Mind Bender's thoughts kept echoing in her head. Kelly bored of just laying there got up and put her some Vans as she walked out of her room in a Superman tanktop and pajama pants. The first person she checked on was Crystal. She was fast asleep and Wolverine was outside her door looking tired. Kelly decided that she should go check on Py next. Even though Kelly got the feeling that Py didnt like her very much she felt she should check. Kelly walked into the room and saw the burned belts that had been holding her down. Kelly shook her head na dwent to find the Prof. |
"I'm only here for a visit Mother, nothing more." Eden said brushing her hair methodically in front of the vanity in her mother's quarters. It had been a long day here at Professor Xavier's school, and Eden wished already to go home. "Charles could teach you much, maybe even I could lend a hand in your studies." Storm said with a smile. "Or maybe when I get too strong you'll simply ship me off to boarding school again like you did when my powers first emerged." "Eden, you know I had no choice but to send you to Egypt for school." "Of course how could I forget, you were to busy with the X-Men to look after me. So instead you sent me to live with distant relatives that I had never met before." "I don't know how many more times I can apologize for that." "Then quit apologizing and do something to prove to me that you want to be my mother!" "That's really why I wanted you to stay." Storm started. "We can be a family, for the first time ever. You could also join the X-Men, Charles knows enough about your powers to see that you'll be an excellent addition." "I almost believed you Mother, but you have to bring in that bit about me joining the X-Men. It always comes down to being a heroine for you. You care too much about making a name for yourself than you do about your own daughter." Eden stood up and grabbed a jacket from the coat hanger. "I'm going for a walk." ******* Eden floated in midair near a small pond in the gardens. She had used a small wind and placed it beneath her, allowing her to defy gravity. The wind formed a pillow of air. This was a calming exercise, but it also strengthened her powers. She concentrated fully on the breeze beneath her. Eden's eyes were fully open, even though she was in a meditative trance, and they shone with a bright white light. "How do you do that?" A male voice called. It started Eden and she lost control of the wind. She almost fell, but landed with the agility of a cat. She stood up. "You know, I haven't fallen like that since I was 7." Eden said with a little laugh. "It's just something I know how to do. You've probably seen Storm fly by using the wind to lift her. Well it has the same basic principals, except it is harder to confine a wind to one specific area than all around you." "Did she teach you?" "No. I taught myself. I've taught myself everything I know about my mutant abilities." "Why didn't your mother help you?" He asked. Eden said nothing, and looked away. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked." "It's all right, but I'm afraid that I'm a bit of a loss. I know nothing about you, while you seem to know quite a bit about me." "Not that much, just who your mother is." He smiled and offered his hand. "My name's Xander, I manipulte heat." "Heat? That must be handy." "Want to see?" Xander asked. Eden smiled and nodded. He blew air from his mouth that turned into a small flame. It grew bigger the moment it hit the ground, and Eden could see that he couldn't control it. Eden brought her hand over the pond and forced a stream of water to the extinguish the fire. He laughed. "I'm still working on that part..." "At least you can call up your power. I have to rely on natures whims for mine." "What is your power anyways?" "A bit like my mothers. She creates the elements, though she tends to use mainly wind and water, while I control them." "All the elements, including fire?" "Yep. If mother nature created it, I can control it. Of course the more that Man has tampered with it, the harder it is for me to control." "So does that make you more powerful than Storm? She's supposed to be one of the strongest mutants alive, except Professor Xavier of course." "I wouldn't know. I've never fought my own mother before." "So, um, are you just on holiday here, or are you staying?" "It depends." "On what?" "If I can find a someone who wants me to stay, not for my powers, but for my friendship." Eden said softly. |
| Xander just looked at her and felt his cheeks get warm. “I would like for you to stay, I mean um… for your friendship that is.” He looked at her sheepishly and then turned away. “I don’t really have any friends here. I mean, I talk with Pyro sometimes cause he’s my roommate and our powers are similar. But we aren’t really much more than acquaintances.” As he said this he avoided eye contact with her. For some reason he felt embarrassed though he was not entirely sure why he did. And he figured looking at her would only cause him to be more embarrassed then he was already. To this Eden looked at him oddly. She said nothing for a matter of seconds until she finally spoke breaking the silence between the two of them. “You really want me to stay?” Alexander looked up at her and slightly smiled. “Yeah, if you would?” Eden just looked at him without saying anything. Xander sighed and shook his head. “I’m sorry about your mom. I never really knew my parents.” He said changing the subject. “But I know what its like to have parents that don’t care. Every foster care I went to was the same way. It was only about them and they didn’t give a care about the children. That’s why I ran away and came here. And I- I don’t know.” He took a deep breath, he knew that he was rambling and he didn’t know how to stop. He felt like an idiot. “Can I tell you something?” Eden nodded. “Yes.” Though her words were few Xander felt more welcomed by her then he had at all by the people present here. “I was even thinking about leaving here myself. I just don’t think there is any place people like us fit, even among mutants. That’s why we have to stick together.” He added with a little sympathy, hoping that she would stay. He didn’t know exactly why he wanted her to stay when he wanted to leave himself, but there was something inside him that told him she needed to. Eden just watched him. “I’ll think about it. It just depends on a lot of things right now.” Though he wanted to question what [I}a lot of things meant he just nodded. “Take your time.” He said and gave a small smile. ________________________ The night was growing long and still Xander couldn’t sleep. His mind was racing through a lot of different possibilities, every one that did not turn out according to plan. He just wished his mind would leave him alone for once. But it seemed no difference to him. He then took a long sigh and kicked a stone into the nearby lake of water, watching the ripples that formed upon the surface. Everyone in the school was in confusion over Mind Bender. So much that school was hectic lately. Pyro would come into his room telling him a few of the details that were going on but other than that like most of the students Xander was in the dark about the whole thing. Part of him hated it here, actually most of him hated it here. He partly got along with Wolverine but it was mostly teasing between the two of them and Alexander really didn’t think that Logan needed a ‘little brother’ at this point. Rogue was nice to him as well but he never talked to her that often. The only reason he stayed at all was for Eden. But he even doubted a friendship between the two of them to form. He just wished life would be more simple. He knew that was a selfish thing to want but he felt he had been through enough already. He had also wished that Mind Bender would leave everyone alone. If he had the power he would tear the guy to shreds. But he knew he wasn’t powerful enough as a mutant. Even the Professor wasn’t. “Hey Kid, what are you doing out here so late?” Xander heard a strong male voice say from behind him breaking into his thoughts. He turned around to see Wolverine standing there drinking a bottle of Pepsi, Xander knew this was to his own demise. “Hey Logan.” He said solemnly still looking upon the stars that gazed above them. “I’m just thinking. It seems that there is no place to do that inside. And I didn’t want to wake Pyro.” He answered truthfully. Logan just smirked and took a drink from the bottle. “Let me ask you something, Xander.” He then watched as Xander simple nodded that it was okay to do so. “You don’t fit in here, do you?” To this Alexander sighed. He knew it was obvious of this fact and yet he wished it hadn’t been so much. “Yes.” He answered. “But I don’t fit in anywhere. Why should this be so different?” “Rhetorical questions.” Wolverine then took another drink from the bottle. “I don’t do rhetorical questions.” “Fair enough.” Xander shrugged. “I would probably only get a rhetorical answer back.” He smirked and shook his head. “I don’t know, Logan, I just wish that I fit in somewhere.” Logan then looked at the bottle and noticed it was empty. “I know the feeling. But it seems guys like us will never fit in as long as we live. But something I learned is that things are never as they seem. | Crystal was restless and got out of bed. Why can I not Get Mind Benders attacks out of My mind? thought Crystal. She walked out to the lake that was on the grounds. She was about to step on to the lake when an Image flashed through her mind. It was of Silver and mind Bender fighting. Then she appered but she looked like she was possesed. they must be fighting in my mind or I am telepathic. then she felt a pain in her neck like there were many little lightening bolts running in through the pin that was on her shirt. then the image disappered. 'that cant happen.' she thought as she felt someone behind her. when ahe turned around it was Logan. "well it seems to be the night for students to be out of bed."said Logan. "well I just came out to walk on the Lake to Clear my mind. I'll go back in wants i finish walking I promiss." said Crystal."alright but I am going to watch you from a Distance alright." said Logan "alright thank you." Said Crystal why am I so alone Sure I have Friends but I have no one really close. Maybe That is why Mind Bender came after me.'though crystal. | Py watched outside as students wandered outdoors. She also watched Wolverine find each one. It was funny really. Py had been thinking when not spying on everyone and had stared to feel bad about how she had treated Kelly. So. she went to Kelly's room and sa her talking to Bobby. "Hey Kelly." Py said softly. Kelly turned around and Bobby looked over her shoulder. "Can we talk?"Py asked. "Sure." Kelly said. The two walked into the hallway then Py turned to Kely and said, "You must think that I hate you or something. That's not true. I just don't trust you or anyone else here. It's a habit. "The reason I got mad at you was because...well my past is to private for anyone to know. And my dreams are all nightmares about my past and I was lucky not to be having one of them. Do you understand?" Kelly nodded. Py smiled for the first time since she got there and felt better. Suddenly someone called, "Did you actually smile?" It was Bobby. "Wow. It's amazing. I actually am a human being." Py said sarcastically then turned on her heel and started to walk away. Bobby chased after her and teased, "You a human? No way." But Py wasn't listening anymore. Or smiling for that matter. She seemed to be miles away. "Py. What's wrong?" Bobby asked. Py turned to Bobby and then for a split second he saw fear and panic in her eyes but then it was quickly sheilded. "Nothing. I'm fine." Py said. Py started to walk away when all of a sudden she heard, "You will be my mind slave." Py got dizzy and felt a horrible pain run through her. He steadied herslef against a wall and then she threw up. Someone was asking her something but Py couldn't respond. It was like she was in a huge cotton ball. ------------------------------------------------- Bobby shook Py trying to talk to her. Kelly came running over and asked what haoppened. Bobby shook his head. In the next moment Py was shaking and screaming. Kelly helped Bobby hold her down then when she stopped Kelly went to get the professor. Just then Pyro showed up. "What's happening to her?" he asked. Just seconds ago he had been going to cheak on Py when he heard someone yelling. "I don't know." Bobby said. Another series of yells came from Py in another languedge. When Py finally quit she was drenched n sweat and when Pyro put a hand to her forehead he found she had a fever. Prof. Xavier, Jean and Crystal came running down the hall just as Py went into another bunch of yells and shakes. The attack was taking a toll on Py and everyone could see it. Her breathing was labored and she was covered in sweat. Just as we were about to move her into the infermery a fire sheild came up and blocked everyone away from Py. Py started screaming in different languedges and wouldn't stop. "Bobby was a chunck of ice and throw it at Py!" Crystal yelled. Bobby did it and as soon as the ice touched Py the fire ceased and Pyro carefully picked up Py and took her down to the infermery. A few minutes later the whole school knew about Py. Silver found the Professor and asked what was happening. He didn't know but pulled her into the infermery. Bobby, Kelly, Crystal and Pyro were already in there. "Can you get into her mind?" Silvr asked not yet seeing Py. "No." the professor answered. Just then someone screamed and the bed started to shake. Everyone ran to the bed and helped hold the person down. When they moved back Silver saw Py. She was soacked in sweat, her breathing was labored and she looked angry as hell but like she was fighting major fatigue. "Professor can I try to get into Py's mind?" Silver asked. Prof. Xavier nodded and Silverwent over to Py but she started yelling at Silver. "Get away. Don't even try. I'm fine really. Don't enter my mind or I will hurt you." Crystal gasped thinking that this is what she had seen earlier today. Everyone turned to look and she rushed over to Py. "Let her in. You've got to let her in." she kept saying to Py. Py started crying and shook her head. "It's okay. She won't urt you. Let her in." Crystal cooed trying to calm Py down. Py finally calmed down and relaxed. Silver entered her mind. After a few minutes Py started screaming in pain and was crying also. |

Suddenly Py screamed and a jet of fire shot out of her mouth. Pyro pulled Kelly aside as the fire blazed on for a minute or two. "Thats not good." Kelly muttered. |
Eden smiled to herself a Xander left. She went back to her mother's room and found it empty. Eden... Eden... Come at last little one? It was the voice that Eden had heard so many times before. But it was louder and more clear now. The darkness in Storm's room grew darker, light seemingly disappeared. Will you follow now? Will you embrace your destiny? The voice asked. Who are you? What do you want? Eden said, images spinning in her mind. I am your Master, you will follow me. The voice said, power emitting from the words. Get out of my head! I'm not in your head Eden. I am all around you. Or more specifically, I am you. A different facet of you. Go away. Please go away... Eden said, coming to her knees. "Am I truly so unwelcome?" Storm said turning the light on. "Eden? Are you alright? Why are you on the floor?" "That voice..." "What are you talking about?" "I've never told you about it before." Eden said as her mother helped her to her feet. "The reason why I am so detached to those around me. There is a voice that plagues me. It says the same thing every time. It tells me to give in and let go. For hours afterward, I find myself experiencing blackouts and loss of my memory." "And you haven't a clue as to who it is?" "The voice claims to be a part of me...." "We must go to Charles." *** "Eden, so nice to finally meet you." "And you also." "Charles, this is no friendly nighttime vist. Eden is experiencing voices, like some of the other students." | Xander sighed as he stood up from his seat. He was a bit tired as he had gotten mostly no sleep that night. For some reason he kept getting these weird feelings concerning Eden. It was as if he had overlooked something important. He walked toward the window and looked out but saw nothing more then half of the kids playing like normal. He wished he was as carefree as they were but for some reason he couldn’t get this loss of feeling out of his mind. It was as if he had even lost himself. He sighed once more and looked over as he saw Jean enter the room. Jean just paused for a few seconds and looked at him. “Are you done with your paper?” Alexander just looked down at his desk. He had been forced to work during break because he had forgotten to write a fifty page essay on mutant genetics. Not that most of the kids weren’t weary of doing theirs. With as much that had been going on lately most of them didn’t even care. Xander was just the lucky one that had been singled out. He slowly nodded. “Yeah, I’m finished.” He then handed her the papers that had been piled on his desk. She looked at them briefly and then eyed him. “Alright then, Mr. Camp. You are dismissed.” Xander forced a smile and then walked down the hall. He had most no clue where he was going, he was just following where his feet led him. And then in the distance he saw a door slightly opened. In his curiosity he walked quietly to the door and peered in to see Storm, Professor Xavier and Eden talking. He tried to listen in on the conversation but nothing was making any sense to him. They said something about Eden and her father, and more about someone speaking to her. He tried to position himself to better hear what was going on. But as he did this he felt a hand reach out to him and he jumped. “Aren’t you suppose to be outside?” Xander furrowed his brow as he looked up to see Cyclops standing there. “Umm… yeah.” He began to studder. He knew he was in trouble, he only hoped that Scott would let him off easy this time. “I just got lost is all.” Scott lifted up his head to better look at the young man. “I suggest that you go outside.” With that Cyclops stood there until Alexander began walking down the hall. _______________________ Xander yawned as he opened his eyes. The morning was just peaking through and as always he was more then a little tired. But as he looked around he didn’t see Pyro in the room. It was just him. This seemed rather odd to him. But he got up nonetheless and began to get dressed. He then brought himself up out of the room and down the hall. But as he did this he noticed something odd. A group was standing around Crystal’s room. He rushed over as quickly as he could and saw Rogue just standing there with an odd expression upon her face. “What’s going on?” Xander asked in his confusion. “Crystal-” Rogue just studdered. It was then that Kelly looked up from her spot right next to Rogue. Her expression was just as grave. “Crystal is gone.” She finished. “No one can find her. Not even the Professor.” At this Alexander’s expression became in deep thought. For some reason Eden kept flashing in his mind. He had a feeling that she knew more about this then anyone else. And he had to find out. __________________ “I don’t want to talk about it!” Eden boomed. She glared at Xander with a rough expression on her face. “Its my business and I don’t see why in the world it matters to you.” Alexander growled. Eden would tell him nothing, and in fact got rather mad when he mentioned anything to her. He didn’t want to push her but he had to find out. And she knew more than she was letting on which confused him as to why she would tell him nothing. He sighed as he watched her leave. He didn’t want to make her upset any further so he just sat there trying to take everything in. Nothing made sense to him. __________________ The next morning was just the same as the one before, except this time, to Xander’s own demise, Eden was missing. He blamed that part on himself. He knew he shouldn’t have upset her the way that he did. But it was then in that moment that he got an idea. He was going to find them, both of them, and bring them back to the school. Even if it meant forfeiting his own life. |

"What are you talking about?" Eden said. "You have untrained mind control, same as your brother and I. While we work in mostly conscious mind, you work in your own dreams." Eden was becoming more horrified by the minute, but Mind Wraith continued on. "Have you ever wondered about the so-called accidents of your youth?" "In Cairo... when the school was struck by lightning and burnt down." "Yes, and the floods and the tornados and sandstorms. That was all you, my daughter." "No, I didn't do any of that! Those were freak disasters. Caused by nature, not me." "When ever you don't use your full power during your waking hours, your sleeping mind has to find a way to release it. Instead of sleep walking or talking, you sleep to destroy. You are the perfect weapon, which is why your mother sent you off. I couldn't enter your mind halfway across the world." "Stop! You're Daddy's little girl now, and I plan to use your distructive powers to the fullest. With your brother, Mind Bender, satisfied with his new mind control girlfriend, he can help me to put my plan into action I will take over the world." He paused. "Storm won't be able to help either. If she does I will kill you and Crystal." "You would kill your own daughter? What kind of monster are you?" "The worst my dear, the worst..." He smiled. | Eden and Mind Wraith went to see Mind Bender. A vampire saw Crystal and thought 'Wow!An angel to feed off of and I'll bring her with me and she'll be my queen.' The vampire's name was Marrious. Marrious started to walk closer to Mind Bender and Crystal. "I'll get us a drink all right my love." said Mind Bender "All right I'll be waiting."said Crystal As soon as Mind Bender left, Marrious moved in on Crystal. "Angel, why don't we go and dance for a while." he whispered into Crystal's ear "Sure but dont hurt me." They walked out in to the dance floor and then after the song finished, Marrious took Crystal to his lair and tied her up. |
| Py had been trying to find and trace crystal's heat and found that she couldn't. So, she waited and tried again this time she noticed that Crystal was with another being. When she studied the being she found that it was Marrious. She had known Marrious because he was the vampire that had tried to bite Py a while ago. She had almost killed him but in the end he had fled. She urned to Pyro and Kelly and noticed that they were still worrying to much to be of any help. Py got up and walked to her room. She pulled on a black shirt and baggy pants then pulled her sword and dagger and hooked them to her belt loops. The last thing she took was a wooden stake. Then Py created a ring of fire and turned it into a disk that she could step on so that she could get to the lair fast. As Py stepped out of her room she bumped into Xander who was pacing the halls. "Move it." Py growled. Xander jumped and then frowned. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Out." Py replied and then sidestepped him and went outside and flew to he lair. -------------------------------------------------- When Py got to Marrious's lair she slipped inside and went looking for Marrious. She saw him talking to Crystal only Crystal was tied up. Py walked into the room and leaned on the doorway. "Hello Marrious." Py said. Marrious spun around and let his fangs slip out. "Stay out of this Nindë Vardamir!" Marrious yelled. Instead Py pulled out her sword and lit it on fire and then lunged for Marrious. -------------------------------------------------- Crystal's P.O.V. Crystal watched as Py battled Marrious. Thn marrious finally clipped her with his teeth. "Damn." Py yelled. Then she took out what seemed to be a wooden stake and shoved it into Marrious's heart. -------------------------------------------------- "Crystal are you okay?" Py asked walking over to her. "Yeah. Where's Mind Bender?" she asked. That was when Py noticed that she was under Mind Control. Py took her hands and concentrated. She put up another Mind barrier and waited to feel the others being kicked out. When she finally felt that Crystal's mind was free she picked Crystal up and flew back to the school. |

'she's such a nice girl but what makes her stand out from the rest of us? Why does Mind Bender or that other Voice want her so bad. Is her powers that strong or....' Pyra then Realized that Mind Bender only want to be Crystal's Boy Friend but could not get to her so he used her mind in her weakest state. "Woa so He wanted her for love but what about the other Voice in our heads Is he Mind Benders Father or Mentor? Would he want to use crystal till she was to weak to use her powers. She had been Chained to the spot she was in by Mind Wraith so that she could not go to her body. "Crystal Your Not Safe but I cannot help you."Silver said with Tears in her eyes. "ahh So She has been Brought here I think I'll Bring her to see you For a while before I take her back. Be happy you'll have company."said Mind Wraith but what he did not know was that Crystal could control her powers here as well as In her body. "Now Dear Spirit of Crystal Come to My Realm. May you look like your in a Deep Uneasy Sleep."chanted Mind Wraith. Silver saw that Crystal Started to Glow silver and gold as she stiffened and then Relaxed as she spirit came to Mind Wraith's call. "Come Rest Young Spirit Tears Are Layed to rest here in my realm."he continued to chant. Silver noticed that the Sentence had been made around Crystal's Name. Soon Crystal was laying down beside Silver in this dark realm. "Crystal Please go back to your body, I do not wish you to be here."said silver as Crystal Stired. |
| Sorry this took so long I moved into my new house awhile ago but the phone line wasn’t hooked up until last Monday so I told my mom I would have a lot of catching up to do and she’s like “You can do it on the weekend”. Name: Jason Scott Age: 16 Nickname: Jason Power: Has the ability to increase or decrease aspects of himself and others Family: Family was killed when he was five, he’s been hunting their killer ever since to find out why and was very close to catching him but he was killed by someone else rather recently. Appearance: 5’9 dark brown hair, average looking face, slender build, and his fathers silver ring that he wears on his right hand. Attitude: When he sets out to do something that its all there is till it’s done. Jason sat atop the front gates to the Xavier institute and listened to Mind Wraiths last moments before Crystal blew him away. Transparent, weighing almost nothing he sat, dumbstruck as it began to sink in that he couldn’t avenge his family’s death because this girl had beaten him to it. He sat their till dark, brooding on his missed chance to kill Mind Wraith. A boiling rage grew inside of him and he thought of Mind Bender, he was still alive and might know why Mind Wraith had killed his family and he might be a channel in which Jason could vent his fury. He dropped from the gate and sped into the forest at tremendous speeds to where Mind Bender had taken Crystal; Jason increased his sense of smell and picked up on Mind Bender. It seems he took off as soon as he realized his father was dead. Jason was off again and within minutes he caught Mind Bender. ******************************************************************************************** Jason was back on the Gate to the institute pondering weather or not he should tell them Mind Bender was dead. Jason didn’t get the information he wanted from him but the screams had satisfied his thirst for vengeance. But he had learned something rather interesting; Mind Wraith was a puppet, everything he had done for the last fifteen years had been at the command of someone else which included the death of his family. He now had someone else to hunt for the answers but there was a small problem, he had no where to begin, he hadn’t gotten enough out of Mind Bender to start hunting. He might need the help of these other people to find this master. Jason hoped down and went into the forest, he had decided to tell the others Mind Bender was dead but didn’t want to introduce himself just yet so leaving the body would do just as well. Jason looked down on his former enemy and considered the condition the body was in, it was bloody, twisted into odd shapes and one arm was missing; he had gotten a bit carried away but he was sure they would figure out who it used to be eventually. He sped back with the body, to fast for the security systems to detect and left the body at the front door. They’ll find it, he took off to the top of the gate and became transparent again. He sat their for a while then it occurred to him that these people might take this as a threat, he hoped they wont because it was to late now, someone had opened the front door and their scream was his cue to leave. |
| Crystal had been thinking about Mind bender and hear screams at the door. She had been Mortified to see that anyone could do this to someone who had only been miss led by their parent. She ran out to the Stables and Saw silver their and asked her to help her learn how to ride. Silver gladely Agreed. Crystal had mastered the way of horse riding in an hour. Silver went back to the Stables as Crystal rode on. ' why would someone do that, Could anyone be so mean to do this to a boy who had been brought up knowing only one way. Maybe It was their master Katarn who killed Mind Bender for his fathers defeat?` Crystal was riding far and did not notice that Katarn was watching her and was going to spook the horse. Crystal's 6th sence told her to go back to the stables. Crystal dismounted the horse and groomed her then went back to the school. "well my Sweet Crystal I guess Daddy will have to come take your spirit then let them suffer and take your body. Muhahaha. that is what Xavior gets." said Katarn as he faded into the shadows. |

A black orb came and hit Crystal in the back to knock her out but she stopped it then the Big orb became many and kept trying to hit her then she felt Blood run down her arms legs and head. she had cuts all over her body and they were bleeding also. | Py stared at Xavier and then stood up from the table. She walked out and went outside to the garden. She heard them call her name but slammed the door in their faces. Once she was in the garden she sat looking at the flower that had taken Crystal. Hse smiled at it and it burst into flames. Py laughed out loud at how silly it was that a flower could help someone evil. It was a beutiful object...well, not anymore anyway. Py stood up and looked at the stars. Everything was too beutiful outside and it was discusting her and she started to gag. Py walked to the center of the garden and then lit the garden aflame. She thought of Silver and Crystal and of all the things that had happened and felt the anger byrn through her body. She even flet tempted to burn down the school. Then all of a sudden it stopped and Py just felt like crying. A tear escaped from her eye and she ran indoors. As she rounded the corner to her room she bounced into Pyro. "Hey are you okay?" he asked. Py looked at him and gave him the 'you must be stupid' look and walked down the rest of the hallway. Pyro thoughtg he was hullucuinatingwhen he heard laughing coming from Py's room. At least he doid before he smelt the something burning. In Py's room she grabbed the alreeady packed escape bag and smashed her window then landed with a soft thud on the ground. She was free and happy Py laughed and danced and laughed some more and then skipped around. Her feet were lit on fire along with her hands nd she was having the time of her life. She didn't ahve to stay there was no one going to stop her besides Silver and Cyrstal was asleep and Silver was gone. Py smiled once at the school then wrote in fire... Don't look for me. | Professor Xavier sat in his office thinking about the former Mind Bender and his rather unpleasant demise. He was worried about his students, if their was a mutant hunter loose they could have serious problems, or it could have been a personal matter but he couldn’t risk the first option. Thus Xavier found himself inside Cerebro (Hope I spelled that right) searching for Mind Benders killer, him since Mind Bender was psychic he was probably using his powers desperately to save himself and that will be the trail. Xavier found the residual energies from Mind Benders last moments and the same energies from the killer. Xavier followed the trail to the cave that Mind Wraith and his son had used. In minute Xavier had called everyone to his study. He then explained to them his theories on why Mind Bender was killed and that he had found the killer. “We are to try and make contact first, find out if it was personal or if this is a serial killer. If it was personal find out who he is and perhaps we can have him at the institute, if not Jean will attack his mind and incapacitate him” The X-men nodded and left for the cave. ************************************************************************ Jason heard them before they came within a mile of him. He made himself taller, changed his hair colour, became skinnier, and altered his facial features. He faked a jump of surprise when he heard a voice call to him from the mouth of the cave. “Who’s there?” he called. “Don’t panic,” came the voice, “My names Crystal, I just want to talk.” Jason smiled to himself, “Alright.” Two girls entered the cave, “This is Rouge. We came here to talk to you about your mutation. You see were mutants to and we came to warn you that another mutant near by was murdered, do you know anything about that?” Jason looked up at her, “yeah I know about that, it was me who killed him.” Crystal stiffened slightly, “Why did you do that?” Jason paused for a moment before answering, not sure weather to tell them about his family, “That is of no concern of yours.” The girl Rouge slowly removed her glove ‘Her powers are contact based.’ He thought. “We would like you to come with us, we live in a place that protects mutants from other people.” Jason nodded and crystal raised her hand and the light from the mouth of the cave bent into the cave and formed a portal, “Just step through here and we’ll be there.” Jason rose to his feet and stepped towards the portal, just before he entered he grabbed Crystals arm and said, “You’ll have to catch me first.” And he shoved her through. Rouge jumped on him and grabbed his arm; Jason could feel his energy draining from him. He increased his energy and boosted Rouges power. She gasped from the overpowering intake from Jason and passed out. Jason sped towards the exit when a bolt of red light shot towards him; he skidded to the side and ducked under a set of metal claws that had come out of nowhere. Later at night back at the institute Jean rose from the couch and everyone started talking at once asking if she was alright. After every ones worries were put to rest they all convened the Xavier’s study. “His mind was just so vast I lost myself in it,” Jean explained, “if he hadn’t knocked me out by hitting the jet I would have been trapped in his mind.” Rouge nodded, “I know how he did it,” she said, “when I touched him he did something and I started to take in more of him than I could handle and I blacked out. Their where so many memories and thoughts I couldn’t sort through them and now they’re gone; what I do remember is that he can alter himself and others any way he wants, so he increased my powers momentarily, and to control himself when he’s super charged, like when he broke the sound barrier, he needs to alter his mind. That’s why Jean couldn’t handle it.” Xavier thought for a moment and said, “We can’t do anything about it now, you all should go to bed. Logan you stay.” ************************************************************************ Jason released his grip on the bottom on the X jet and slipped through the halls and up the elevator leading to the main floor. He crept along the ceiling an found Xavier’s study; he dropped to the floor and resumed his standard shape and size and strode in. Xavier didn’t look surprised but Logan whipped around. “What are you doing out of bed?” he asked. “I don’t think he’s one of our students.” Xavier said. Jason walked closer to the desk and Logan’s claws whipped out. “Theirs a fast and a long way to do this, and I don’t feel in the mood to be standing here long. Xavier would you speed this up for us?” Xavier reached out to Jason’s mind, wary of what happened to Jean, he gently brushed Jasons mind before committing himself entirely. Being satisfied that he could handle Jason he opened up his thoughts and memories and in a few moments he knew everything about Jason’s powers, and mind bender, and what happened to his family, and that their was someone else behind mind wraith. “I would like to join your school,” Jason said, “but I don’t think the others should know me as the person who murdered Mind Bender.” Xavier nodded, “They wont recognize you from the cave because you changed you appearance, but you shouldn’t reveal your powers because they will know that.” “I can play at super human strength and nothing else.” Xavier handed him a room key, “Third floor second room on the right, you wont have a room mate, and their extra cloths in the dresser.” |

Py asked quietly trying hard not to let anyone know what was going on. "You want a battle I'll gove you one." he said. "Fine!" Py yelled then used almost all of the new energy and hurled a huge fire ball at him. She saw him try to dodge but she felt him get burned more than she heard it. She looked around and didn't see ayone in the room anymore except a small glow of light in the corner. "What's going on?" Py asked. "Your powers are advancing babby doll. It's not good. It's too early. PLease calm down. If you don't it will hurt even more." the light said. Py was tense and scarred when a horrible shot of pain went through her. "Why is this happening?" "You have a serious proplem here Proffesor, she has no control or even an idea of what she can do" Jason looked down at his hands and arms, they were terribly burnt from holding Py. He closed his eyes for a moment and healed himself, "That really stings." he mumbled. Xavier looked at Jason for a moment and said, "I want you to stay with Py." Jason blinked, "Why." "Because you can sifon off her powers before she has another incedent like this." Jason shook his head, "I can't just take her power I can only lower it, and that wont always work because her powers are self feeding like mine, it can raise and lower itself." "Then teach her to control it." "I don't know how it works, the only way to figure that out would be to access her mind, and her powers would probably flare to light and kill who ever was foolish enough to try." Xavier looked over at Py, "We need to do this otherwhise here powers will destroy her, you will have to control her powers while I go in and find her and then we can discover how her powers work." Jason just stood there, "It has to be done" Xavier pressed finally Jason nodded. Xavier put his palms on Py's head and closed his eyes while Jason took hold of her arm, Immedietly power began to rise in Py and Jason was quick to put a cap on it, "Good luck proffesor." He was able to transport anything into other parallel dimensions. "Adrian!" Py yelled. Adrain pulled himself out of what looked like a transe. But what had caused it. "Nikki?" he asked. Py nooded and kept her distance. She couldn't remember what had happened in the last few hours but she felt different. Adrian walked forward and Py walked backward causing a puzzled look to appear on Adrian's face. "What's the matter Nikki?" he asked. All this time Py had been thinking when a thought hit her. "Why did you put Silver in another dimension?" Py asked. "Nikki...how did you...Never mind. She was the last part of my past I needed to get rid of." he said. Py felt something grow inside her. | Jason was meditating in his room; it helped to calm his mind before he practiced. He was always practicing; it was never good enough for him. He opened his eyes and focused on the mirror, the glass lifted out of the frame and began to warp and flow like water in zero gravity. Then it formed a sphere and began to spin, it picked up speed till it began to flatten out. When it stopped Jason put it back into the frame then looked to the walls of the room. He was about to move it outside the institute when he felt something, a rush of energy. Jason had an ear for energy, he could hear microwaves, light energy and energy from mutant powers; he could tell what had happened by the sound the energy makes when mutants use their powers but this one was different. It seemed like a transport but their was something odd about it. This wasn’t right; it came from outside the hospital room with Py. Jason turned the floor liquid and fell through to the kitchen, then fell to the hospital room. Py was just waking up and Jason turned invisible and leapt onto the ceiling. Py wandered outside and yelled, “Adrian”. Jason crawled out into the hallway and watched a strange boy come out of some sort of trance and turned to Py. “Nikki?” he asked. Py nodded and kept her distance. Adrian walked forward and Py walked backward causing a puzzled look to appear on his face. “Whats the matter Nikki?” he asked. Py paused a moment then said, “Why did you put Silver in another Dimension?” ‘Of course,’ thought Jason, ‘another dimension would be like a transport but of a different sort. That means if this guys dangerous I have to get him before he turns his power on me.’ Adrian looked surprised “Nikki…how did you…Never mind. She was the last part of my past I needed to get rid of.” That was it, this guy was a threat and had to be taken care of. Jason leapt feet first into Adrian and hit him full in the face knocking him out instantly. Jason became visible and reached into Adrian’s had and shrank his comprehension capacity the a vegetable. “What did you do?” asked Py. Jason looked at her, “I incapacitated him till we are sure he’s safe.” “He’s sent Silver to another dimension.” “I know Py. Is their any way to get her back other than him.” He pointed to the body on the floor. “I’m not sure, where is professor Xavier.” Jason shook his head, “All the X-men left to fight an evil mutant.” “Why are you here?” asked Py, “You don’t seem to have any problems with your powers” “Xavier is helping me with some…personal matters.” Py thought for a moment, “You were the one who killed Mind Bender.” She said it more as a statement than a question. Jason nodded, “Mind Wrath and his son were the beginning of a war Py. A war Xavier built this institute to protect mutants from. The humans are not our greatest threat Py, it’s a mutant with no name, this mutant is dangerous because he controls a massive network of mutants to which Mind Wrath was involved in. He hates Xavier for stalling his take over and is trying to destroy the institute and everyone who has so much as heard of it. That is why the X-men left, to fight him.” |

Something stuck to his clothes and before he could tear it off, jammed three prongs into his chest. "Nnnghhhaah!" The pain was excruciating. Maverick lurched to his feet, and stood for a long second. But then his knees gave way, and the ground met him on the way down. "Is he out?" The three suited men joined with their comrade. "I've never seen a power inhibitor work like that before." Four sets of eyes stared at the twitching form. "Poor guy. I almost feel sorry for the mutie." Closer... just a little bit closer... Two of the group bent to pick up the unconscious teen, and then the ground exploded. Maverick tore the inhibitor from his chest, spraying the two mutant-hunters with blood. His eyes took on a cold, gray light as he stood up. "That hurt. But now - it's my turn!" Maverick lunged at the nearest person, pushing off the tree for support. His head struck the armored mercenary full in the stomach. "Hurk-" The blow rained vomit in front of the hunter, but Maverick had already moved on. He sprinted past a woman and her partner to clothesline their leader's red-barred helmet. He was laid out on the grass, making choking noises. "You little creep! I'll-" Both of the surviving mercenaries pivoted to sight on Maverick, who stood coolly by the leader. His helmet was crushed in, and the man was screaming hysterically. "You'll live - stop whining." Maverick took hold of the man's breastplate and, still with that glint in his eyes, tore off the top of his armor. The captain stared at his rescuer's face incredulously, as if a friendly mutant were some kind of quantum glitch. "You're going down, mutie! Freeze, or your head's gonna be in pieces!" The disgust in the woman's voice dripped from every syllable. Maverick turned slowly from the wheezing captain and met the soldier's gaze. "I let your team live for one reason and one reason only. Whoever hired you, give him this message: Adam is dead. Only Maverick is left. So he can stop with these useless games and leave me alone!" Her face changed, almost imperceptibly, as doubt sank into her veins. "Yeah, right. Like I'm afraid of you? Who's got the gun here? Now get on the ground, NOW!" "Promise you will deliver the message. It is important." "I said now!" "If that's all you have to say, then I'm outta here." Both mercenaries had had enough. On a silent cue, they fired. Fully automatic rounds laced with lead arced from the red dot on Maverick's forehead, traced downward to his stomach, then up to the mutant's heart. Each bullet slowed and stopped, as if through water. "Deliver the message." Maverick's eyes lost their gleam as he turned on his heel and slowly limped on through the trees. Damn. Jeromey has gone too far this time. Too far. Maverick hobbled through the brush in search of someplace to sleep. The power inhibiter almost took everything I had - I could've died back there. Still the mutant trudged on, limping badly. The worst thing is, every bit of it was talk. Maverick hadn't killed anything bigger than a rat in his life, and doubted he ever could. It was nearly dark when he finally came upon civilization again. The great red brick complex was the perfect place to hide. Across the basketball court, on past a gigantic mansion, and over a bush, Maverick curled up under a low porch. This should be fine, for now. Some rich snob's July home. On that thought, Maverick tucked his useless legs under the trenchcoat and slept. Wow, that was a doozie. Still, I'd like to see how this ends up fitting in with the rest of the story. Note: Maverick is crippled, much like Prof. X - the difference is, he uses his powers to walk. So, um, yeah. That would be it for me. |

She was fed up and needed some time alone so she opened her portal to the moon and stepped through she fell to the ground tiredly. She walked towards the ruined thrown room and saw beautiful works of art their. |
| After Py trained for a while she went back to the infermery to see Adrain. He was still out cold. Unfortunatly Jason was there too. Py smiled and walked in anyway. Just as she sat down on Adrian's bed Jason looked up and said, "They're back." Py nodded but didn't move. Jason got up and walked to the door. Py follwed him after a few minutes and they made their way up to where the jet was. "Hey Everybody!" Py exclaimed with a bright smiled then proceeded to go up and hug them with a grin. All of the Professors were confused. They looked at Jason and he shrugged. Py back up and tilted her head as if listening to someone. "Oh yeah...Silver says hi! Oh and Help...maybe she's confused on some of her work." she said. Just then something flickered across her face. 'Silver's in my mind and on another dimension...' "Silver's in trouble!" The professors looked at each other then back at the two with worry on their faces. Py giggled suddenly then exclaimed angrily, "Adrian is awake! He is going to pay!" |
Maverick was watching the great red brick complex from his vantage point under the porch. Late last night, he woke up to hear a girl walking on top of the porch. She was tall and thin, with a long braid of blonde hair. Suddenly, a dense fog surrounded the porch - an arc of piercing light shone though the slatted boards, and he could see the girl walk through some kind of portal! A bolt of light streaked its way to the moon, and somehow Maverick knew she'd gone there. I wish I could do that. But that was five hours ago. Now, things picked up a little. There were a few kids running around the grounds, and once Maverick swore he'd seen somebody with horns! Definitely not someone's summer home. "-But how can you tell it's not just a kid?" Maverick froze when he heard the door open, absolutely silent while two people sat down on the porch and chatted. "Well, I just can. He's scared. Maybe I should do something?" The girl said. Her long red hair was striking, and she had on a funny jumpsuit, like some wacko superhero. "No, not yet. I've got it... there! now let's see what this is." The man with her was in a wheelchair - he was bald and looked fairly trim for a cripple. ~~Maverick. What are you doing here?~~ The voice in his head asked. The hiding mutant nearly jumped out of his skin! By a supreme effort of will, he stayed silent. It was unclear which one was 'talking' to him, so he held back his powers. ~~Maverick. Why are you hiding? Come on out where we can talk to you.~~ Maverick's features twisted and contorted in fury. Get out of my head! It was too much. Maverick opened his eyes, and there was a steel-gray color flooding them. Slowly, the liquid steel flowed out of his eyes, and covered the ground. Small arcs of flame licked out of his corneas. ~~Maverick. What are you doing? Please stop. Come out, we don't want to hurt you.~~ Never! Get out of my brain, freak! As Maverick's anger rose, the flames spewed from his eyes, filling the small space around him, threatening to disclose his hiding place. "Professor - the deck is burning!" Yeah - definitely too much flame. "Don't worry, it's just a manifestation. It seems we've found him." Maverick froze in complete terror. Someone's found me! I've gotta get out of here! ~~Maverick. Don't worry. We won't call Jeromey. Just stop this and get out from under the deck.~~ "Professor, they're not going down. If he can't control this much power, it might seriously hurt someone!" There were people stopping to look at the spectacle now; a wooden porch and two occupants, engulfed in a bonfire-sized flame, yet not even warm. "Jean - don't worry. I can always put him to sleep, but I hope I won't have to." Maverick struggled for a few seconds more, then stopped, and reluctantly crawled out of the crawlspace. He dragged his duffel bag with him, then stood to look at the two. "All right! Will you get out of my head now?" "Yes, of course, Alan. But why were you hiding in the Mansion?" Maverick shrugged. "I needed someplace to sleep, and figured I could steal some food as well. I guess that wouldn't have worked, eh?" The bald man, 'Professor', was about to answer when a short, muscled guy with a bad hairdo sprinted behind Maverick, claws outstretched. It was almost enough, but Maverick was faster. "Raagh--whoulf!" The man grunted in surprise as Maverick blocked the knives on his wrists. One, two, three, four attacks were made and dodged by the scruffy kid. "Logan, STOP!" The Professor bellowed. The short guy stopped, retracted his claws, and eyed Maverick suspiciously. "So what, is he your bodyguard or something?" Maverick asked, with a flippant air. "Not much of one, anyway." Mentally he derided himself. Idiot, why bluff against a psychic? DUH, DUH, DUH!!! "Not exactly. Why don't we go inside, and talk about this a little more?" The girl suggested. It seemed like a good idea, so Maverick followed her in. Logan looked at him with eyes of pure fury. It was pretty unsettling, but not as much as the claws poking out from under the skin. Under the trenchcoat, Maverick shuddered and went in. |

Her parents were calm about the whole thing until the first time she impersonated her mother to give her permission to go do what she wanted. By the time she was 10 they kicked her to the curb tired of her crap. Appearance: her left eye is blue her right eye is green her natural hair color is a blonde that is almost white she is 5’4 and 140 lbs. she has a rather curvy figure No one is sure if she wears clothes because she can shift rumor has it anything she keeps on all the time shifts with her anything new doesn’t. Attitude: She is very social she tends to like to stir up trouble she likes to break the rules but not get caught she likes to play pranks but not the point of actually hurting someone just for the sake of getting them to laugh she does things for reactions more than personal gain. She shifted into someone she had taken a picture of at the airport the other day and walked out to the street. She found an unsuspecting young man who was eyeing her and she approached. Cleo said curiously the man thought back "No I don't believe so IM not good with names but I am sure I would remember those eyes." he said at this comment Cleo got nervous worried her eyes hadn't changed she managed a polite blush. " so what are you doing?" Cleo asked leaning into him a little. He smiled " I actually don't have any plans to... she was listening but something else caught her attention "She has to be close she's still on the Radar." Cleo blew it off "...would you like to come have a drink with me?" the man asked. "Oh but I don't have a purse or.." she was cut off "Don't worry about it I will cover for you I am sure you can't drink to much." he smiled and led her into a bar. about an hour into the evening of drinking and flirting she heard the voices again "tricorder says she's in here." a male voice said "but if she's a student like professor said." the female voice "what would she be doing in a place like this?" the male voice finished The couple walked right by her and up to the bar she couldn't hear what they said anymore. once Cleo got the guys wallet she thanked him for a wonderful evening and said that she couldn't possibly stay with him any longer and then got up to leave. Not noticing the couple she listened to follow her out. She walked back to the hotel paid for her room and hurried up to the bedroom to look in the mirror. To her relief her eyes were the same color and not the awkward one blue one green as normal. She shifted back and opened the safe to count her stuff she had 4 wallets 12 watches 100$ a digital camera and a laptop. She had opened the laptop and started looking through pictures when there was a knock at the door. Startled she shifted into the lady she just had been to pay for the room and opened the door. "may I help you?" she said Then she realized it was the two from the bar. They stepped into the room and closed the door. "No but we can help you" the lady said "what?" cleo was confused "we know who you really are Claudia winchester." the man said "I am Jean and this is Scott" Storm said "We are mutants and Professor X started a school for children like your self to give you a safe haven and we would like to bring you back with us." Scott said Cleo back towards the window very uneasy about this. Jean stopped her from moving "please trust us and we can give you a fresh start where you don't have to run and hide you can just be a child. What do you look like anyway?" "alright fine I will go but if I don't like it I am leaving now let me go." Cleo said working up to a fit and shifting before there eyes into scary monsters including mythological creatures such as dragons. Jean let her go and she shifted a moment or two more before she settled on looking like a 10 year old girl wearing overalls with pigtails she grabbed her laptop and digital camera and her other procured items and shoved them into a bag. They walked out of the hotel and they quickly arrived at the jet in which they flew back to the school. As soon as she got inside the first person she saw was a lanky boy with mousy hair and the prettiest Grey eyes ever and he was talking to an old man in a wheel chair. They walked me in. They greeted the man in the wheel chair as Professor and he looked at me and stared into me hard and in my head I heard " Wonderful to finally meet you in person Claudia" Cleo jumped. "Excuse me where's the bathroom?" Cleo asked in the 10 year old voice. "Just around the corner" Jean said I quickly left shifted into my normal appearance noticing the number of teenagers around and came back to sit with the professor. |
| ‘My my Alan, you have been around lately.’ Jason though from his perch on the ceiling. Once again he was invisible and weightless; he was most comfortable like this knowing that no one could know he was there… except of course Professor Xavier. Alan wasn’t saying much to these people as usual but they were making every effort to get him to stay with them. Jason hadn’t seen Alan for a while, guess now he’s going by Maverick. ‘I should let him know I’m here.’ Jason thought. Jason zipped down and back to fast for anyone to perceive. Maverick was looking around a bit when he spotted Jason’s mark of the wall. It was a simple mark, a triangle with a line running from each vertex to a point in the middle. He stared at it for a moment before Jason removed it before anyone else could see it. Maverick was very alert for a few moments before he gave up trying to find Jason. Finally Maverick agreed to think about staying and asked for a bathroom. He stepped inside and waited for a moment before Jason appeared before him. “Alan nice to see you. I guess it’s Maverick now eh?” Maverick shrugged, “Yah its Maverick. What about you? Still Phaze?” Jason shook his head, “You and I are the only ones left who knew that name. Kyle was caught in a house fire and Ryan died saving some kid from a river, hit his head and sank. The others were hunted down.” Maverick bowed his head for a moment before he looked up sharply, “There are hunters here.” He said. “No,” Jason whispered in disbelief, “it can’t be Doctor Monroe. He’s dead and we are too officially.” Maverick shook his head, “No it’s not him, I think its just a general bounty for mutants put out by a man named Jeromey. They don’t know you but their looking for me and they’ll take any other mutant they can get along the way. Regardless a group of mutant hunters close to this school can be dangerous.” Jason thought a moment, “I have to warn Xavier then I should take them out. If this is going to be a regular occurrence I may need to stay here longer that I expected. You can tell me about Jeromey later.” Maverick nodded and asked, “Should we let them know we know each other?” Jason shook his head, “If we do then they’ll ask how we know each other and that could get sticky. You should get back, they might start to wonder and that telepath Jean could come probing.” With that Jason disappeared. Jason had the scent of the hunter off of Maverick and was off to find them. It wasn’t to hard one of them was bleeding internally, probably from his encounter with Maverick, and has coughing up blood. That made them real easy to find. Jason watched them for a while, pondering weather or not to kill them right away or question them first. There were four men and one woman and one guy seemed to have taken a massive blow to the chest and another had his head in bandages. ‘Looks like Mavericks work. I suppose I should give them the chance to surrender.’ Jason dropped from the tree and all the hunter looked up, “Is that..?” “I’m not sure.” The woman picked up a weird looking radar gun and pointed it at him. “I’m just here to give you one chance to surrender.” Jason said. “It’s a mutant!” the woman hissed and she picked up a strange disc and threw it at him. It attached itself to his chest and began to electrocute him. He paused a moment then ripped it off and stuck it to the man with his head in bandages. He screamed horribly before it killed him and set the other hunters on edge. The remaining hunters, save to bleeding one, drew their weapons and fired at him. By the time the bullets hit the tree behind him he was already in front of one of the hunters. He stole the knife from his belt and rammed it into his skull. The man dropped like a rock and Jason caught the gun and blew the other man and the woman away. He dropped the gun and slowly turned to face the man with the chest injury. The look on his face was of utmost terror as Jason slowly advanced on him. Jason slashed with the knife and neatly opened his shirt. The man was to scared to move, and Jason put his hand on his chest and healed the internal damage. He looked up at him in disbelief eyes wide. Jason leant in close and whispered, “Never hunt in my state again or I will find you and you will die far slower than the others.” ************************************************************************ Professor Xavier turned when he heard Jason enter his office; Jason walked in and placed the power inhibitor that had electrocuted him on his desk. “We have a serious problem.” |
| Crystal had calmed down, and still had a bad feeling about something. She walked throught the ruins and came upon a crumling wall but could not move quick enough and it trapped her legs. "Just great now what."she thougth then sent a message through her portal to the professor and others. The note said ~Help, Im in the ruins on the moon and my legs are trapped. Crystal~ She waited and hoped that they would get here soon for the tempurature was dropping now that the earth was setting. |
| Alan was taking his second test in the Danger room when Professor X's voice came over the loudspeaker. "Alan, I'm going to have to leave - there's an assembly I need to attend. I'm going to leave you under the care of Wolverine, listen to him." Alan nodded in agreement before he dispatched a final robot. Xavier turned and wheeled out as Logan grabbed the mike. "Okay, kid. You ready for Round Two?" Logan made some last-minute settings and took the lift down. Alan saw the scenery change from the Mansion's halls to a blank white in every direction. There was no horizon, and soon Wolverine materialized, about twenty feet away. "So, you're a Matrix fan, eh?" Alan smirked and his eyes took on several shades of gray. Wolverine held up a hand to stop. "Hey, not so fast. No powers, just hand-to-hand. Agreed? The computer has a scoring system." Alan nodded and dropped into a crouch. "Bring it on." ~~--|~|~|--~~ Scant minutes later, a bruised and humbled Alan limped out of the Danger Room. Stepping out onto the grounds, he noticed a small, flickering spot on the porch. That girl - she was right there when she went to the moon! Wolverine turned just in time to see Alan dive inside. Logan rolled his eyes, then ran after him. "Jeez, this kid can't stay out of trouble for a second!" He dove for the same flickering spot Alan had, but the portal closed, leaving Wolverine to skid along the deck cursing. Alan was in agony. His eyes were popping, his lungs were bursting, and there was a terrible icy chill that leaked all the way to his bones. It was only a second before he lost consciousness that Maverick got a containing field up. His eyes were still bleeding, but at least he could breathe. And it was still bitterly cold. What was it, what was it? Maverick tried to find a way to warm up. As pressure on a gas increases, the energy increases proportionately, right? Maverick took a guess and compressed a sliver of precious air. It glowed intensely, but it gave off great amounts of heat. Perfect. With his worst problem taken care of, Maverick took stock of his surroundings. There was the obvious desolate moonscape in every direction but one. It was just on the dark side of the moon, but there were definitely ruins. Ruins! Maverick almost did a double-take. What are ruins doing on the moon? His emotions evoked, Maverick jumped and combined the low gravity with his telekinesis to get there in seconds. Alan landed on the west side of the ruins, staggered once, and got his bearings. The ruins weren't just primitive housings; this was a civilization at its peak! There were beautiful carvings and sculptures, and the walls curved with an organic grace. Maverick couldn't help but walk slowly through the city, humbled and speechless by the art surrounding him. He ran his hand along the ridged sides of a wall, taking in the hieroglyphs and motifs. It was as cold as steel, but that was just the climate. Maverick suddenly stopped as the full image carved there was recognized. It was a full-size motif, stylized much like the Incas and Egyptians, but that wasn't important. The picture was. In the center of the picture, a tall, slender humanoid girl stood with arms outstretched; she took in the sun and moon's rays, with a great crystal emblazoned on her forehead. Her long hair fell back behind her in graceful curves. There were six or seven people around her, all doing strange things - one looked like the Sphinx would if she was standing, another girl's skin was painted a metallic gray, and a guy was standing with a fiery halo. Wavy red lines radiated from his hands and mouth. Yet another girl was holding lightning bolts in her hand, while a partner held a flame in her hands. The group had two more men, but they weren't doing anything weird. It reminded Maverick of a team or something. Weird. Maverick found all this eerily familiar, but couldn't place why. He continued down the wall to find another section, this one almost completely crumbled. Here two men stood, one held a sword and was running toward the group. There was a second, but he was sitting down and the body obscured. It seemed almost religious to Alan, much like the stained-glass in old cathedrals. Alan might have stayed there a few more minutes, but his oxygen was already running low, and he needed to find the girl who had come here. Where was she? Alan made another leap, to the other side of the ruins. He crashed through a column of stone, and rolled to a stop on a slanted wall. Alan got up and was about to leap again when he felt the wall move. |
| "Help me please" she called as Alan was moving on. Her legs were not working and she feared that they were broken. She was so weak and tired. The cold was getting close to falling asleep. She needed to get back to the school before that happened first but she could not waist any power or she could not get home if anyone had come. |
Alan froze. Was that.. a voice? He looked around quickly, but saw nothing. How can there be a voice on the moon? There's no air! "Alan.. help me..." Alan jumped ten feet. When he drifted back to the ground, he flipped the stone slab over in one smooth motion. Gotta love low gravity! There, in a ruffled but alive heap, was Crystal. Alan helped her up, then extended his pocket of air to include her as well. She was shivering uncontrollably. "How did you manage to get here? And how come you're not dead?!?!" She tried to answer, but could do no more than stutter. "You'll be okay - we're going home." Alan took off from the surface and gathered speed in a free-fall to Earth. Both he and Crystal had about two hours of free-fall time before he made a shield of air to slow them. It was a scant three power-assisted jumps, and they were in the courtyard of the X-Mansion. Crystal sat in a plush couch, with a new cast and a thick blanket. Alan sat opposite the coffee table. "Okay, so explain. How did you get on the MOON, how did you survive, and how did you talk to me without any air up there??" |
| Crystal thought about it and then said "well I got up there through my portal the second question would probolly be related to my powers i can bend lunar and solar energy/light to my will." she then felt that Silver was in trouble. She was scared as she saw ghost like imags of a tall man but completely dark she could see nothing but his eyes which where deep sapphire and seem to be burning a mark onto or into her. As she turned away the man vanished. She felt the ice pick again and tried to shake it off. As Crystal sat their she remembered her last dream, She was standing in a mist covered place, She was wandering lost and confused as another figure appeared. The other figure stood in a mist saying, The time is coming for you to evolve into your true form. What the meant she was unsure of. She turned and looked at Alan she wanted to know if he saw what she went to find. "Alan did you see anything while in the ruins?" she asked hoping he had seen what she was not able to so she would not have to go back once more but later. |

I've always been like this. t's you who has changed." Nikki giggled. Adrain started. "The Nikki I know doesn't giggle." he said. "Yeah well the Nikki you know is gone." someone in the shadows said. Nikki giggled once more before walking out of the infermary. |
| Name: George Conner Alias: Ameoba Appearance: Ear-length auburn hair, jet black eyes, over 450 lbs Personality: At heart, is truely a kind and gentle person, but his life and circumstances have forced him to learn how to be brutal and violent when it is necessary. Family: Disowned at a young age, no known family. Mutant Powers: George's body is completly mallable, like putty. At will, George can change his entire appearance, condence his considerable bulk to a tighter frame, which increases his density to give him more strength, can stretch amazingly thin to fit through cracks or other small places, or even divide into two completly separate beings, hence the name Ameoba. with no internal organs or bones, George is inpervious to most types of physical injury, such as bullets, but could be killed by excessice heat or cold. Some as of yet unknown abilities. History: When George was born a mutant, without a solid form, his horrified parents threw him in the street, hoping they would never again have to deal with mutants again. Unknown to them, George didn't eat in the traditional sense of the word; instead of using his mouth to eat, sense he had no organs, he absorbs food through his body. When he was thrown on the street, he happned to land of some discarded food in the gutter, and survived. George was found by a policeman, and was sent to an orphanage for mutants, where he was named after the police officer who rescued him. George ran away when he was 15, and lived on the streets in L.A. for two years as the leader of a street gang, where he learned how to fully use his powers in combat. He had been arrested several times for a variety of charges, ranging from petty theft to assult. Despite all of the crimes he has commited, he has never killed anyone, and has always tried to prevent murder. ************************************************** George sat in the stinking abandoned warehouse with his gang, the Side Street Sliders, trying to figure out what they were going to do. One of his boys, Razzo, had crossed the line- in a gang fight the other day, he had accidently killed a young punk while brawling it out. He punched him just a little too hard, and snapped his neck, SNAP!!! When everybody heard that sound, all fighting immediatly stopped and looked to Razzo and the punk; they knew what that sound was as soon as it broke the air. Even George Stopped his fighting with the rival street gang leader, another mutant named Fresco, an Italian who shot sound waves from his hands. He saw the body, and stopped cold. "He killed Lyanol," he whispered. "He killed him." Not knowing what to do, George thought fast, a trait one has to pick up on the street. He made his fist as dense as possible, and real fast slugged Fresco in the gut, putting him out of comission, for the moment. "Scatter!" he shouted. "Meet back at the house!" Could you help me do some scouting around on the moon?" Crystal raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about here?" "I just want to find a big crater on the dark side of the moon, that's all. Besides, this would give us a chance to take a closer look at the ruins there, too." Crystal's look of suspicion grew. "And you don't care to explain why you want to find a crater on the dark side of the moon?" "Well, you see, I'm pretty handy building things, what with telekinesis and all. I'd like to build a base of operations on the moon. It'll be cool - like the ultimate treehouse." "Hmm. Well, I dunno. Oh, shoot!" Crystal looked at her watch. Could make a good horticulturalist, in fact, if trained correctly, a GREAT one! Can also speak foreign languages quite easily. Can also use the weather to be able to help her out when she’s in trouble. She is at one with the earth, she has a lot to learn about her powers though and how to use them correctly. Family: She has attempted to keep her powers hidden from her family for a very long time. Her mother thinks she is just very good in the garden, her father is never home. She has no siblings. Lilac was sitting on her bed when she first heard her father’s voice. “I want you to join me in the kitchen Lilac,” he said. “Dad?” Lilac says confused as she believed that her father was again away on government business. Lilac had been told long ago that her father worked closely with the government and that was why he was always away. Lilac walks down the stairs and enters the kitchen where her mother is peeling potatoes. “Honey, would you mind fetching me in some tomatoes?” her mother asked. “Sure Mum,” Lilac says giving her mother a hug. Confused she wanders outside, she could have sworn that she heard her father’s voice. “I told you to come to the kitchen didn’t I?” her father said angrily. “Dad?” Lilac says looking at her father confused. “GO NOW!” her father roared. Lilac bolted back into the kitchen. Lilac’s mother turned around hearing her daughter re-enter the kitchen. “Honey, where are the T….” her mother opens her mouth on shock “Tom!” “Yes Lavinia,” her father says angrily. “Please Tom, don’t,” her mother says. “Too late Lavina, I have already made contact, she is MY daughter after all and I am taking her!” her father says quite matter of factorly. “Please Tom,” her mother reaches towards her father “please, let’s talk about this.” “BACK OFF FROM ME WOMAN!” he roars and pushes her out of the room. The next thing he knows he is wrapped up in vines. “Oh god, I had hoped that this wouldn’t be in you,” Lilac’s mother said. “I’ve made such a big mistake, I have to go.” Lilac’s mother just disappeared into the darkness. Lilac rushes after her, hoping to be able to get her to a safe place. “You’re Lilac, aren’t you?” comes a voice. “Um. Yes?” Lilac says trying to make sense of the woman standing in front of her. “My name is Storm, your mother is already safe, I think you may want to come with us, we need to talk about your father with you both.” Storm says. |
