A Day or Two.....

I wish I could walk out,
and leave you for a while.
For just a day, or maybe two...
I'd find some place
to be alone-to sit and think
read a book, or maybe two...
I'd let you wonder
where I've gone,
you can see how it feels.
Go ahead and cry a tear,or maybe two...
I won't call you
and if I do
I'll give it one ring, or maybe two...
If you happen to answer
I just may hang up,
cause I don't really want
to talk to you.
I'll just see you in a day or two...
