Summer passed into memories and Autumn moved in.
Summer lived but three short months. But in those three months Earth showed forth her youth and her beauty. Her trees greened out and her pastures grew to proper height for cutting for Winter's fod. Summer allowed her skies to cry, her clouds to collect. Yet, she halted herself from allowing too much love to exude from her heart. She knows from the beginning that she will age and when she does, in fact, slip into sleep and her sister takes over, she doesn't worry that we will cry over her passing.
Rest in peace, sweet Summer.
