it's about a gem!
The Greatest Diamond

So just what should I do,
With this heart of mine?
Let the gem go and run,
Or to keep what I find?

My heart keeps the gem,
In wait I will lie
My heart sets it down,
I know I could die

It’s a jewel of many facets,
Has so hypnotized my eyes
Left my head to spin,
And cannot hear my cries

I’d love my gem in a setting,
Not locked up in a drawer
I won’t ever find a keepsake,
That would mean to me more

This gem’s worth is priceless,
And so attached to my heart
So a part of my being,
I cannot with it part

Some might just see her,
As a jewel in the rough
The Greatest Diamond to me,
She’s my most precious love!
