I will be updating this journal often, so please come back.

"Kings Journal"

This journal should reveal some of my past from my personal writings. I hope to clarify any questions members may want to know about me. Please read and I hope you will come back later to read more.

I was born in November of 1939 in a little town in Northern Kentucky. My parents had 10 children 6 boys and 4 girls. I had 2 older sisters and 2 baby sisters with 5 brothers. I am the oldest brother and I'm 75 years old. I came from a poor family who had a lot of love to go around. My dad worked as a foundry foreman in Cincinnati, Ohio. My mother was a housewife all her life and sent us all to school.

I went to a little elementary school in our town from grades 1 - 6. Then I was sent to a high school about 10 miles away on a school bus. I went there for 4 years, but had to leave because of my mothers health problems. I assumed her responsibilities as she was in and out of the hospital.

That summer I cut the grass at the mansion in Cincinnati, Ohio. I would save all my change coins in a jar and I usually went home to Kentucky for the weekend once a month.

When I got home I let my siblings reach in the jar and grab all the coins they could with one hand, starting with my youngest sister to the oldest brother at home. Because I was away from them I sure missed my sisters and brothers a lot.

Finally after saving my money for awhile I was able to buy me an old car. It was not a Rolls Royce, but it did run and that is what I wanted at the time. I really enjoyed having the car to drive around the neighborhood with my friend.

That summer while I was staying with my older sister and her husband. I met a little red headed girl who lived down the street her name was Gayle. She was so pretty and sweet with beautiful red hair and green eyes. However she was much younger than I was, but I still liked her as a girlfried. We never dated, but it was not because I did not want to. She later moved to Florida and we lost touch with each other.

That summer of 1958 was wonderful for me in every way, I was so happy. Rock-n-Roll was the music and I loved it with Elvis, Bill Haley, Fats Domino, Sonny James, and all the rest of the earley Rockers.

Around the age of 14 I started writing poetry, mainly romance and love poems. I believe the reason I chose to write about romance was because of my shyness with girls this was my way of enjoying girl's in my dreams and thoughts.

I was a very lonesome boy sometimes I would escape reality and find a place to be alone to meditate.
The reason I had to have an escape was because of the pressure of my home life. Even though I loved my siblings with all my heart it was hard to care for them all the time.

When I became 17 Mom's illness had regressed and I could finally have some time for myself. My older sister lived in Ohio so I went to stay with her for awhile. I Found a job cutting grass for a rich man who lived in a mansion in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He had a huge estate in the rich distict with a driveway at least 1 mile long. They were trees along the driveway lined in a row about every 15 ft a part.
I had to trim the grass around each of them then cut the rest of the grass along the driveway in a day and a half time in order to keep up with my schedule.

"Friends"

I have lived in Kentucky all my life and I don't plan on moving any place else.
You know what they say: "Kentucky is the home of beautiful horses and fast women".

The only kind of sports I was really good in was Baseball and Softball.
I loved to play the outfield in Baseball I felt at home because there I was not in the spotlight,I was very shy especially around girls.

When I reached 14 my mother contacted a permanent illness she was in and out of the hospital, so I had to oversee my 7 younger siblings at home. Dad worked hard to feed his large family almost everyday except Sunday. My 2 older sisters had gotten married and moved away.

Because of babysitting my siblings I had to drop out of school in the 8th grade, my Dad could not afford to pay someone to watch them. I eventually got my GED when I became an adult, but it was not like graduating from high school.

Hi, Friends

With the holiday season gone things are much quieter around the house.
I hope all of you had safe and wonderful holidays and 2005 is a good year for all, my friends.

Here in Kentucky the snow has finally melted and I can drive my car on to the street.
I hope we don't have to face more of that kind of weather again.

Because I am an older man my activities and happenings are in my past, therefore most of my entries in this journal will be from my past life.

I was born in a little country town in rural Kentucky in 1939. I am one of ten children (the oldest boy) borned to my two great and honorable parents.

Happy New years my friends!

Here is a little information about myself:

I like to read poetry of any kind.

I don't like to read long stories.

I am a 65 year old retired labor man.

I wish for world peace amoung all men.

I like to do restoration on old classic cars.

I spend from 1 to 2 hours on this site a day.

I spend most of my time reading and rating newbies.

May God grace your face with the warmth of the sun and you never feel the winds bitter cold.
