A Vile Visitor

You hit the pillow and your eyelids fall.
Only to hear this powerfull call.

There he is holding out his hand,
follow him and you'll understand.

Down a pathway he does go,
leisurely walking very slow.

Around a corner and into light,
this deception feels so right.

You've been there for a little while,
when all of a sudden he turns vile.

He slaps and drags you to the ground,
where snakes and lizards slither around.

They begin to crawl all over you,
As you're thinking of what to do.

Frantically ,you pull and pull but they stay
you scream at him to make them go away.

You roll over and begin to fall.
You look but he's nowhere at all.

As you fall you begin to scream,
then you realize it's just a dream.
