I was walking down a lonely lane,
full of distress and in pain.
I thought that I was alone,
but I found a friend who was my own!


Life was like the winter chill,
cold,harsh,scattered and still
but as you came in smiling bright,
I felt the warmth and light inside.


As i walked with your hand held so tight,
In moonlight soft and starry night.
Life blossomed like a beautiful rose,
whose every petal fragranced more.


As I looked into your pearly eyes,
full of dreams and love inside.
I asked you darling "Is it true?"
You whispered softly "I LOVE YOU!!"
