nature's beauty-as well as can be described on paper |
Have you ever given a single thought Fantacised, or wanted To see a place with the beauty of nature? A land that's enchanted? Come, let me take you to that glorious place With green pastures and snow-capped mountains Where rocks pose as statuettes, And bubbling springs as fountains. The clear stream is like a mirror, Pebbles shine upon the moistened sand; The trees whisper in the breeze In this enchanted land. The leaves are covered with droplets Of the early-morning dew, And there are flowers red, yellow & pink Each with an iridescent hue. Rain falls in a refreshing shower, Watch the peacocks dance; The wind touches every hollow, The flowers sway as though in a trance. The music is never-ending Though without a choir or band, For nightingales and larks sing In this enchanted land. Here the heart is feather-light, Here the spirit soars high; Memories never fade here--they remain Forever written on the azure sky. And when Night covers us With its darkened veil We know the stars above Are watching without fail. The silvery moonlight then lays Upon us, a caressing hand, For a peaceful sleep In this enchanted land. |
