another random poem of mine
In quiet, alone, I sit and dream of how
we used to be. And what we may have come
to be if time had let us be, without
the interference of the big, bad world.

When it was just the two of us and no
one else was there, we laughed at all the funny
things the other had to say. But when they
reared their ugly heads and clawed their way into our thoughts and feelings...
We swayed, and fell,
and let ourselves be taken under their
sadistic, silver spell.
