A poem about a lost love...
I thought you loved me,
but I guess I thought wrong.
I thought you cared,
how could i have been so high strung.

You made me think,
and it tore out my heart.
You made me care,
and you ripped me apart.

How could I be so stupid,
how could I be so dumb!
To listen to you talk,
and not hear the truth.

I put my heart out there,
and I thought you would hold on.
but as soon as I said hello,
I was saying so long.

So, here's to my thinking,
all my stupid thoughts.
Cruelty is the word,
for all my foolish thoughts.
