Heartsong

         In the quietness of this moment I sit watching you,
and I feel a familiar melody begin to sway within my heart.
         The tempo is slow and caressing,
It is a sweet, stirring,mystical rythm
that captures all I cannot say with words.
         It is the sound of my love for you.
A melody heard by no other, it is for you and I together, alone.
         Then, as you glance in my direction,
my heart skips just one beat.Suddenly, your
heart begins to echo the song it hears in mine.
         Together, we create a symphony of love
beating steadily stronger with each passing moment.
         A beautiful heartsong playing endlessly on
to the tune of our undying love.
