The surviving guard relates his story to Lance.
Chapter Two: Demons of The Past

“He said his name was Jimmy Kroe.” The injured guard said as he took a sip of coffee.

The guard was sitting at a table in a dark room. He had a bandages around the wounds Jimmy left him. Across the table from him sat another man. He was a tall man wearing a very expensive white suit. He was also wearing a pair of John Lennon type sunglasses, only the left eye of the glasses was pitch black while the right was blue. Next to the man stood his body guards, both holding Uzi’s.

The man in the suit took out a cigarette and lit it, he then offered the injured guard one. “No thanks. I quit.”

The man said. The man in the suit shrugged and put the pack away, then looked straight into the guards eyes. “Did he say anything else? Try to think.” The guard leans back in his chair and sighs, then says, “All he said was to tell you Jimmy Kroe was looking for you.” “What did he look like? Do you remember that?” asks the man in the suit, not having moved an inch.

“He was wearing an overcoat, and…” The guard began to trail off.

“And what?” ask the man in the white suit, his interest peaked. “His face, well what I could see, was wrapped in bandages, like some fucking mummy.” the guard spat out, while taking a drink of coffee. The man in the white suit’s face grew grim. “Do you know what he said to Rockney before he killed him?” the injured guard laughed at the question.

“Sorry but I was too busy trying not to bleed to fucking death! Look, I told you everything I know, please can I go home now?”

the man in the white suit stares at him for a while, then leans forward, taking off his glasses. The man in the suits left eye was completely gone, all that remained was a black hole.

“Look at me! Do you see this!” Screams the man in the suit while pointing to his eye. “He did this to me! I want to find this guy! So I want you to tell me everything he told you! Are you sure that’s all!”

The injured man nods trying not to stare at the hole. The man in the suit sat back down and placed his glasses back over his face. “Can…can I leave?” stutters the shocked guard. “Your useless, you know that? You couldn’t even protect your junkie of a boss from one man!” Says the man in the white suit. “Take him out back and finish the job, our new friend started.” Says the man to his bodyguards. “Yes Mr. Lance.” They replied together. The guards quickly snatched the injured man up, and dragged him kicking and screaming out the back doors.

The man in the suit, Dennis Lance, sits back in his chair and stares up at the ceiling. “You don’t know when to quit, do you Jimmy?”

MEANWHILE

Across town, in a rundown apartment, the bandaged man Jimmy, Sits on his couch, wrapping his shoulder with gauze. He looks down at the coffee table in front of him. On it lay various pictures and newspaper clippings about Dennis Lance and the mysterious bandaged vigilante wanted in the murders of several gangsters connected to Lance. Jimmy smiles, “I coming for you Lance
