I am an 18-year-old high school student from an extremely small town in Western Ohio. My free time, between work and study, is mostly spent either reading, writing, listening to music, or playing music. Most of my writing, aside from essays for school, is poetry. Most of my poetic influence is rooted in the works of Charles Bukowski, whose poems first sparked my love of poetry. My biggest weaknesses as a writer stem from my very infantile relationship with the art, resulting in a still-growing ability to express thought and emotion, coupled with my distaste of coherent structure in poems and an often wordy tendency in my prose.
