The winner of the 2016 Writers' Union of Canada's short prose contest for developing writers, Deepam Wadds is an AWA (Amherst Writers and Artists)Affiliate, certified to lead workshops in the AWA method as described in Writing Alone and With Others, by Pat Schneider, Oxford University Press. Her award-winning short fiction and poetry have been published in several literary journals and anthologies. She is a graduate of the Humber School for Writers, with mentor, Donna Morrissey. She has completed 2 novels and a memoir, all of which have begun to make the rounds.
