I am on at least the sixth revision of my first novel, after spending many years as an advertising copywriter at one of the world's top agencies, attending writing workshops and raising a family as a single mother in Manhattan. I have also headed a consultancy for interantional advertisers. I grew up in the Midwest, landed in Manhattan in my late twenties and have been here and loving it ever since. My favorite activities are writing and reading, swimming in the ocean, playing with my grandchildren and enjoying all kinds of New York's cultural offerings. I also like fashion and travel.
