Life is strange. One moment you have the life you've always wanted, then in a heartbeat its gone. You wake up and your head is reeling as you stare out from behind bars at a razor wire fence. All sense of justice has been turned upside down and all you can do is try to survive.
I am currently 3 years into a 15 year sentence at a Federal Prison. I simply made a mistake and broke laws I never knew existed.
This diary chronicles my experiences here in prison in the hopes to reaffirm to myself that the world is larger than in here. I think you'll be surprised at what life is like for the incarcerated. It's not all gloom and doom.
