From the earliest memories of Mom reading fairy tales from the World Book Encyclopedia, to the present, I have been an avid consumer of stories. My earliest literature was Atomic Mouse, Donald Duck, and Superman comics. I also liked road signs, can labels, cereal boxes.....anything! In school I devoured Sci-Fi, history novels, magazines, history text books,.... anything printed. I was a little cold toward Shakespeare and poetry in school. Poetry rarely speaks to me.
