I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed on July 23rd 1992 and given a year to live. I was told that only 15% of people with my type and level of cancer live over one year and only 5% live 15 years. I was also told that I would have to have my leg amputated. I still have both legs and feel great. I now have an amazing gorgeous grandson. I have always been able to see the brighter side of things and I suppose that is the secret to my survival. Thank you for taking the time to read my poems. I wish you the best.
