I am a young writer. I work most days as a barista meeting new faces and new people. It is the stories that I see played out in everyday customers. I want to write accurate stories of things that happen. Nothing fake all real. Similar to the director Terrence Malick, I find myself wanting to write the things that are real. It's easy to fall into the trap of writing for what you think people want to hear, but what if they want to hear something that is relatable because it can happen. and it has?
