M.K. was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1972. He has been writing professionally since 2009 and has won several awards for his short stories. He is a contributing writer for several online periodicals on the topics of art, history, science, philosophy and theology. He has also written reviews on comic books, science-fiction novels and graphic novels. He resides in Pennsylvania with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children. In his leisure time, M.K. enjoys playing with his kids, an occasional round of golf and sitting around waiting for the zombie apocalypse. MK published his first book "Ten Minutes of Madness" in June of 2012.
