I am a young, aspiring writer of mostly fiction. I write to entertain when I create my stories, but also write shorter passages regarding my personal thoughts and beliefs. Some of my work could be considered poetry and so I have adopted the Latin translation of the name: The Dead Poet. Though I consider myself a romantic writer, I mean so in the traditional sense, I do not avidly write romance. The writers I hold in highest regard are Emerson, Thoreau, Poe, and other 19th century writers. My hope is that my stories entertain, and my "poetry" serves as a way for other writers to peak into the thoughts of another.
