I'm a numbers geek by day and a wordsmith any chance I can get. A couple years ago I entered an essay contest on a whim - I defined a "true Minnesotan" as someone who is a bit nuts. Winning the contest started me on a path of seeking out other writing contests and as such I became who I call "The Competitive Writer." I have a thick skin, so I appreciate all the tough love you can give me in reviews. I'm here to get better, and I promise to do the same.
