Hi I,m new to this site and have been writing as a hobby for some 3 years mostly short stories. I am now, however, working on my first novel, which I have almost finished. It is a fictional work based on fact about a band of British soldiers during WW1. I myself spent 6 years in the army followed by 20+ years in the oil exploration industry all overseas. I am now 67 and retired
